Hi Bro, as with all cleaning/maintenance tool, it will be efficient if you clean your tank frequently with it.

For the Kent Marine, they are especially useful since some magnet cleaner cant get into certain areas due to thickness and also cannot really clean stubborn algae as effectively as scrapers.
