Want to buy Aquabee UP2000

Need the pump for a close loop. Lowest I ca find is $130. Does anyone know where I can get one, brand new, for lower than $130?

Its way above $130 over there, though its for the UP2000/1 model (which I do not need).

why not get a higher capacity pump? like the Eheim 1260. its only $140 from Petmart.

For the application I have in mind, the UP2000 suits me better. I like the Aquabee's smaller size/footprint and significantly lower power consumption as well. I've two Aquabees running in my tanks now and I have absolutely no problems with them. Good brand.

I suppose. I wanted to get AquaBee for my return pump as well. but since the price offered on EAquanature was similar to a brand new Eheim 1262, I figured I was better of getting a 1262. got points to collect somemore.

I'm using a 1262 as the return pump on my 4ft FOWLR. Got it before I found out about Aquabee. If I can get a UP3000 at a good price, I will swop the 1262 for the Aquabee.

Aquabee have poorer head pressure compared to Eheim. That is one reason why it consumes less power compared to the Eheim for (supposedly) the same gallon output.

If you want a return pump, Eheim is really better because it is better at delivering over heights of +4 feet. At that height, I am guessing that eheim would be at 60% of its rated capacity, whereas the Aquabee would be considerablly less. For loops to chillers/skimmers, etc. Aquabee would be a good choice.
