3ft tank thickness

Recommended Posts

hi guys..

for 3x2x2 tank...is 10mm thick glass ok???

and better to use white or black silicone for marine tank??

For 3x2x2 10mm will do.

As for silicone, go for those that takes time to cure, average time for curing should be 7 days. ;)

10mm should be fine. I kiasu, 12mm :P after my previous tank experience which cracked (8mm), decided to just play safe... As for black or white silicon, its just a matter of asthestics and taste. I personally prefer black to keep in line with my black oyama.

from what I've heard from people here... for marine, 10mm is the absolute minimum thickness...
