Eniram, your tank has a lot of fishes already right? this fish will not survive there.

hahaha yea totally agree too many fishes! this angel was top of my list and saw it at CF was so tempting to buy but too bad tank not mature enough to keep this beauty so i gave up the idea. Maybe in the future when i clear all my fishes and start again? Maybe you never know. :eyebrow:

Using a MP40 right now, was also thinking of using another Tunze 6105 with controller but i am afraid that the current maybe too strong for my LPS , so am still considering now whethere to put it in or not.. <_<

Decided to put in the tank hood now since i think i will stop for awhile before stocking up again.. Some of the Full tank shot taken this morning, however light is not on yet..

WOW..nice tank..btw bro I have problem keeping Power blue tang & black tang , Alway introduce to the tank than all the white spot come .... how ??? :cry2: my tank 8 month old only will this cos the problem ???

Wow, your tank is 5 feet or 6 feet? Looks so nice!! I also using MP40 on my 4 feet tank.

Which mode can you recommend of MP40? I normally use Yellow or Blue with palso mode.

Mine is a 5ft by 2ft x 2.2ft .. Am using the MP40 with the blue puse mode.. so far soo good. :)

Larry, you gotta do something about all those wires dangling above your chiller.

Try runing a Ozonier as it will help improve the water quality? The main problem with keeping tangs is that they ate and "Shit" alot.. and feed your tang with more algae or algae base food will helps. :)

The number of time your chiller kick in will depends on a numbers of factors;

- No. of power head inside your tank water ( Heat being transfer from your power head to your water )

- Types of lighting => i.e MH produce more heat into the water comparing to T5 , PL or LED ,so it will also make the chiller kick in more often.

- Horse power of your chiller .

I think my chiller only kick in once every few hour due to the lighting and equipment i use ,and also i design all my pump to be external so as to reduce heat being transfer into the water .

By the way, i just got my electrical bill for last 2 month and it suprise me that my average total electrical bill for my 4 room flat is only $ 80.00 per month runing with my 6 footer !!! I cant believe it myself either ..

I think with some proper planing and equipment setup, this hobby is not as " electricityl drainer " as what some claim it to be. Maybe if you play computer games eveyday it drain even more electticity in your house lor.. :lol:

Very nice setup and AT bro, plan to do anything bout the cables/wiring mess at the back? I think some nice cable trays would help.

Still cracking my head also how to hide these messy wiring ... <_<
