jackywongto
well I hope you're wrong and i'm wrong too... cause I'm cutting down the amoutn of heat from 716watts to 150 watts ( that's what the info AM gave me of the amoutn of heat When ALL LIGHTS are on for the KR92-40 model)... so that's like 80% decrease in heat from lights already.. will update my thread when the lights come in and the results.. haiz.... WHY SO HOT!!! WHY WHY WHY wake up go toilet ... seat cover also hot.. wah @#$ your 3 feet + lightset will still emits out quite a lot of LED heat. Definitely just a fraction of the MH light but closer to level of heat your T5 emits. The good thing is that it is radiating upwards. so if you have an fan circulating the air in your hood and there are sufficient vents, it should be pretty alright. PS : why hasn't anyone invented gel cooled padded toilet seat yet??? I won't be able to eat muffins for quite awhile now reading what you guys say.. AHHAHAHAHA and I PREFER a cold seat in this weather rather than a hot one! if I could have air con seats I would! SRC Member comycus Posted May 7, 2010 SRC Member Share Posted May 7, 2010 dunno leh... the info say my model gives off "only 150 watts" of heat....... If that's the case then I'm prob wrong before, KR92 uses 1W LEDs and has 150 LEDs for your 40". That's 45 leds per foot. Sounds pretty bright to me already.
