Sweet!Amazing tank!Will be following closely!

Oh and i read that starphire glass are less resistant to scratching...not too sure about that..

YEs, you are right. they are softer than normal glass so have to be careful

the glass pic is real tough to see.

almost cant see much frm it but its ok. nothing beats viewing through a glass/plastic etc.

btw,low iron glass looks like the pic u posted that states starphire. LOL!

the bigger difference is tat starphire gets smashed/cracked easier than normal glass.

Coo....can't wait for the scape to go in. Agree, a minimalist look for shallow reef is much better IMO.

My zoas I got some good deals as a local reefer order a whole container full and as it could not fit in his tank, I took some into my tank and been there ever since lol....

If I were rich, I would air freight in a pallet of corals :P

Anyway it won't take months to reach la... especially indo/phillipines shipment kind. Shipping nowadays also v. efficient. Get a 'reefer' to tpt your corals also can.

so u got yr contractor to use a more secured way to hang yr ATI? keep the contact incase i need in future...hehe.

Here the pic of my hanging mechanism. I have to say its ugly. well definitely wont recommend u guys to do it. But i don expect my carpenter to build me a heavy canopy. Really cant find a good reason for him to build me a thick canopy. Yes there is not 2 but 4 of this. Damn ugly but at least its those heavy duty wall plug. Well i am thinking of finding ways, maybe adding a wooden facade to cover this 4 plugs.

Here the picture of the metal cable with plastic covering to deter rust and i use 2 metal clamp instead of one.

post-1523-1261402024_thumb.jpg

A close up pic. Ofcoz i can increase the height of the canopy by either releasing the metal cable or by turning the what ever thingy u see here

post-1523-1261402087_thumb.jpg

And finally a picture of the interior of my canopy. Well ofcoz i will have room for my ballast and i am going to cut quite a few opening at the canopy cover and install those colorful LED computer fans i can grab at sim lim. so when the ATI is on, the LED fan is on to provide additional ventilation. OFcoz this is really extra.
