If I'm intending to keep zoas in a 1ft cube tank , what kind of lighting would be appropriate ?

Any suggestions ?

Thanks..

depend what color u want ur zoas to be, i usually find those bleach zoos or brown zoos and put at different lighting levels

Do switch places of the zoas if u want a mixture of colours.

I use a 4 tube hopar light and Cree LED lights

Looking at long term:

running cost over 3 yrs (changing of tubes) + electricity savings ==> LED more cost effective.

Eqpt: Deltec MCE 600, Tunze 6055 with Tunze 7091 controller, Artica 1/15 HP chiller, AquaIllumination Sol Blue LED Light System

2011 resolution : Do it simpler, better and in an easier way!

But for a 1ft cube, is there any cost savings? Because Dr Evil is suggesting he use a 60W maxspect?

But be mindful the 60W LED from maxspect is more white than blue...so the colours of your zoas may not look so nice....speaking from my personal experience..unless you request from Dr Evil to have more blue LEDs...i think he can do it, but may have extra cost.
