SRC Member BlueTerror Posted January 7, 2003 SRC Member Share Posted January 7, 2003 i am planning on customising a taller refugium for my tank. it would be standing next to the main tank. this would allow water to flow back thru gravity. main purpose would be to store skimmer n heater here. (rm is aircon) my existing hob filter seems to be too small fer the tank as well. perhaps can grow some algae to export nitrates? any reccommendations for a pump to the refuge? i was thinking of using those submerged phs from those luohan top filters any advice? im super free now cos on mc Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

SRC Member BlueTerror Posted January 8, 2003 SRC Member Share Posted January 8, 2003 its really simple. main objective is to replace my hob filter which is not producing enuff current. as well to store my skimmer/heater. now for the overflow hole back to my main, i would like to install a piping. would i have to silicone this pipe to the hole?
