i think i got some of these in my tank too. initially it spreaded around, then i used kalkwasser to nuke some of them, cos i thought they were aiptasia. now i still see a few but they seem to be under control already. no harm done.

I got a spare 1ft tank, would like to keep something exotic like a mantis shrimp in it. will it try to break the glass? pretty scared of it smashing the glass and water flooding everywhere. what i gather from forums is that they do break acrylic easily but tank glass not tt often.

I bought a blue sponge sometime back from Reborn and just today i noticed this thing that was attached to it. It seemed like some clam to me because it closed when i turned on my main lights but opened afterwards. There's also a couple of smaller ones on its right. It's like attached to some greyish matter to the sponge, this greyish matter has also glued itself to the LR where i placed it. Sorry i couldnt get a better picture of it, my cam's pretty lousy at close shots. Thanks!

well maybe your powerhead is the source of heat. i use a hob filter for my 2ft tank so there is minimum heat.

i din know u had to acclimate snails, i put mine into the water straight away, on the tank wall and it stuck immediately

maybe u shld get a skimmer, it does help in reducing nitrates by removing the organic material

Ya, i meant to ask if pl gives out more light and in turn more efficient den fl. anyway can someone recommend a true actinic 03 pl tube? i need one for my 2ft tank. and how much would it cost anyway

what kinda lights are u using? i notice ever since i add an 15w actinic fl to my tank, it really heats up the water. my tank stays 27-28 most of the time except for afternoon when aircon goes off. noon temp can go 29 usually, but still under 30. i notice even the fl holder heats up really hot unlike my pl.

i like the purple fire fish. it looks damn nice, purplish shade. anyway what do you guys mean by super mushrooms? are they larger den usual? or super red looking?

what is your nitrate level with those fish? how much water do u change everyweek? i got 2 clowns n a royal dottyback in my 2ft. i also like the purple fire fish, would it be advisable to add tt?

plus tropic marin seem to have the most important trace elements?

the clowns stash it for later consumption but doesn't realize the anemone gonna eat his food... they dun feed their host intentionally

is tt so? i find dead crabs now and then in my tank. they have their bodies broken though.
