hi guys,

I cant seem to find more info regarding backup power to use for nano tanks.

Would like to know what sort of backup power do you guys use?

Let's say im off to vacation for a week, in order to prevent my tank from crashing if there is power outage.

what should i get?

I used below ups system

Brand : Intari

Model : CT-1200B

1200VA

I tried 65W Eheim return pump 1260 only can last for 2hour... So far, used slightly more than a year... performance still in tact...

For nano you may uses lower wattage pump.. ex 15-20W, you can easily hit 6hour.....

But one week r too long.... you may seek for your neighbor help to monitor for you...

Not many ppl using backup power for their tanks? nano tank maybe?
