lol very nice tank but he listed his livestock wrongly.

he doesn't have a liopropoma carmabi. he has a liopropoma swalesi. the photo shows a swalesi not a carmabi..

Yea, but wonder wads his secret behind 4 watts per gallon success with SPS other than water parameters... But is 4watts really enough?!

I'm aware of course... But I keep failing with colour retention... Even an oversized skimmer doesn't work... Is it by luck or my tank is too small?? I know Jervis did it with ati powermodules too, so it is in fact something that is plausible and might very well be possible...

never underestimate T5s. they can do wonders to SPS colors.

Once fantastic src Danano is one example, and theres more in zeovit and reefkeeping TOTM.

If a man could beat his own fantasy. Then to only breed in captivity. Then its pointless.

Genesis 1:20

And God said, Let the waters bring forth abundantly the moving creature that has life, and fowl that may fly above the earth in the open firmament of heaven. And God created great whales, and every living creature that moves, which the waters brought forth abundantly, after their kind, and every winged fowl after his kind: and God saw that it was good. And God blessed them, saying, Be fruitful, and multiply, and fill the waters in the seas, and let fowl multiply in the earth. And the evening and the morning were the fifth day.

Hahaha bro, not time lag la. Young people like us like retro stuff, it is the in thing now ;) /Joking

Bro VC, the success of SPS cannot be determined just by just what kind of lights you use. Other essential water parameters like Ca and KH should be maintained too. I have read about the rule of thumb of 3 or 4 watts per gallon of water, but I think it is just a loose guideline. How shallow the depth of your tank is, and the colour temperature and PAR value of your light set plays an important part too.

i do not believe luck gt to do with success with sps. to be successful, u need the right equipments, right perimeters n hardwork. in ur siggy, u stated u measure only ur NO3, even at 5, no3 is too high for some sps. for start, i will advise u to try some of the easier sps.

Yea agree on the luck part... I'm now having a frag of acro unidentified, still retaining it's green tint... Will change 10% every 2 weeks instead of 20% monthly...
