3 channel dosing pump

Recommended Posts

I have recently purchased a 3 channel dosing pump hoping to improve the stability of my tank.

However, I have several question that I would need to clarify.

I know that there are no hard and fast rule on to what to add for the 3 channels.

Still, I would like to know what you guys have been adding and what pointers to take note.

Currently, I have a few in mind/ have with me.

1. Trace elements

2. 5 in 1 coral food

3. purple up

4. Iwarna topup

Also, am I right to say that iwarna n purple up serve as the same purpose?

Therefore, iwarna topup would be sufficient?

Another question would be dosage/no of times per day.

(Think this will be discussed after deciding on what chemicals to add)

Thanks in advance for all your inputs. :)

1. Trace elements - ok

2. 5 in 1 coral food - not ok, coral food best to kept in freezer after opening, if not it will spoilt easily.

3. purple up - best to be shaken before use for the residue.

4. Iwarna topup - I believe got residue as well.

For 3, it's more for coraline as the aragonite particle are useful for coraline growing, didn't include KH buffer.

For 4, if im not wrong, it's more for KH and some other elements.

If a man could beat his own fantasy. Then to only breed in captivity. Then its pointless.

Genesis 1:20

And God said, Let the waters bring forth abundantly the moving creature that has life, and fowl that may fly above the earth in the open firmament of heaven. And God created great whales, and every living creature that moves, which the waters brought forth abundantly, after their kind, and every winged fowl after his kind: and God saw that it was good. And God blessed them, saying, Be fruitful, and multiply, and fill the waters in the seas, and let fowl multiply in the earth. And the evening and the morning were the fifth day.

I am using the dosing pump too.

There are some coral food that doesnt really require refridgeration after open.

I am using the kent marine series, if i didnt remember wrongly its called kentmarine mircovert and kentmarine zooplankton. These 2 doesnt require chilling after opening, but of course with chilling, it last longer, but for me, it usually finishes in a month.

cheers

Thanks guys for your input!

Any other bro have other suggestions?

Or are doing it differently?

1. Trace element

2. Distilled water

3. ????

So does that mean I should dose iwarna topup/ purpleup/ 5in1 coral food manually?

Thanks!
