Dear all, Need your expert advise again. I am feeling the skimmer directly (at point D) via a hose from the Ozonizer. The Ozonizer is being fed by a pump. I notice that the water level in the skimmer is not stable. About every 30 sec, the water level will drop and then rise back to the original level again. Can you tell me what is the purpose of point C? Thank you.

Hi Bro, I dont think you have enough flow at the front of your tank. I see that one of your Seio is pointing down. I would suggest you point to the front or move it to the overflow box and point it to the front. If this Seio is strong enough, the flow will be defract down by the glass and the detrius will be gone. I would definitely suggest putting in more powerhead/Seio now. The more the flow the faster your tank cycle.

Hi Apollo, For Macro skimmer, there is a AS, JS and KS. JS is Venturi and the other 2 is needle wheel. There is a difference in the way the skimmer works and of course the price too.

In my opinion, lighting is required but it is not the most critical. What u need is very good water flow. Keep your dKH and Ca up and Coralline Algae will grow. PS. dKH will dropped faster than Ca. So you have to dose Reef Builder or other brands more frequently.
