Er.. sorry bro
Superglue repels algae...
weird enough, algae doesn't grow on patches of super glue!!!
Go try in yr tank over algae patches, works wonders for me
Your lighting needs will depend on yr livestock
If just FOWLR, then you'll just need enough light to see yr fishes.
If zoos, and mushies: preferable FL / PLs ; but of course T5 or MH also can
LPS and SPS/ anemones will need alot of light accordingly.
If U wan an anemone, you'll need a MH
clowns will do just as well with or without one. Else can get frogspawn / hammers
U can try using PLs for lighings, or if space allows, a MH with chiller for temp control
Perhaps you should use a seperate pumo for the chiller?
From what i roughly know the output from the wet-dry canister filter is not constant. It varies AKA pulsing.
A seperate pump also helps by increasing the internal circulation===> reducing 1 -2 wave makers
Go for 250W or even 400W if you can control the temp well.
150W wouldn't bring out nice colours
I'm running a 250W 10KK + 150W 20KK (balance) in my 2 X 2 X 2.5. Would have gotten 400W if i can get a better chiller
Just tagging along
Wondering if it's possible to plump a seperate 1.5ft to my current SPS tank and rear 1 -2 of this little fellows?
Or can i just rear them in my 2ft cube SPS??
==> High circulation 2 X M820 + 2 X M1100
==> High light 500W
==> sally light foot, sea cuke, 2 X true pers, abalone, turbos
Is it safe or even possible such tt these little fellows dun become food or get suck into the pumps??
cheers
