  2. Current setup after heatwave...
  3. Some updates pics... slowly buying SPS again Suppose to be blue tips.. but can't get it on cam...
  4. Now 1 + mth later, lots of TLC, carbon change, rowas, and GPs
  5. Met with a recent heatwave... (no tsunami ) temp rise to 35 degrees over night.... normal temp was 26.5 - 27 max This fellow lost it's colour
  6. My HUGE ball of spines Body w/o spines is almost 2" wide already
  7. Er.. sorry bro Superglue repels algae... weird enough, algae doesn't grow on patches of super glue!!! Go try in yr tank over algae patches, works wonders for me
  8. Your lighting needs will depend on yr livestock If just FOWLR, then you'll just need enough light to see yr fishes. If zoos, and mushies: preferable FL / PLs ; but of course T5 or MH also can LPS and SPS/ anemones will need alot of light accordingly.
  9. If U wan an anemone, you'll need a MH clowns will do just as well with or without one. Else can get frogspawn / hammers U can try using PLs for lighings, or if space allows, a MH with chiller for temp control
  10. U mean gems land!!! Time to RAID!!!!!!
  11. Yup... on duty.. sucks man.... but at least can claim 1 day off.... Back to yr pics!!
  12. MORE MORE MORE!! Breathe taking Bro Dun feel bored in camp now get to see some updates
  13. Then sell them to me!!! Any open house soon???
  14. Erm, you can try tasting to see if salty or not???
  15. Perhaps you should use a seperate pumo for the chiller? From what i roughly know the output from the wet-dry canister filter is not constant. It varies AKA pulsing. A seperate pump also helps by increasing the internal circulation===> reducing 1 -2 wave makers
  16. He doesn't need it as he already has a RCCB connected Both serve the same purpose: to save a life
  17. You can try the high end Ehiem wet-dry canister filter. I've seen reefers using it with great results.
  18. You can use normal 3 core cable after the 6amp MCB. Before tt, you'll have to find the suitable cable size Studied before, but forget liao...
  19. Go for 250W or even 400W if you can control the temp well. 150W wouldn't bring out nice colours I'm running a 250W 10KK + 150W 20KK (balance) in my 2 X 2 X 2.5. Would have gotten 400W if i can get a better chiller
  20. U dun need so many MCB: Combine lighting + skimmmer pump + return pump Combine chiller + tunze + FR pump There is no worries for overloading.
  21. Just tagging along Wondering if it's possible to plump a seperate 1.5ft to my current SPS tank and rear 1 -2 of this little fellows? Or can i just rear them in my 2ft cube SPS?? ==> High circulation 2 X M820 + 2 X M1100 ==> High light 500W ==> sally light foot, sea cuke, 2 X true pers, abalone, turbos Is it safe or even possible such tt these little fellows dun become food or get suck into the pumps?? cheers
  22. Erm.. do you feed GPs?? Looks like you;re feeding too much.... turn off yr skimmer during feeding.
