  1. Saw 2 possum wrasse at Sealife on Sunday pm Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  2. Bought this guy in April last year. Quite surprised that it is still around as I have not seen it in my nano tank for months! This is one fish that really do not display well at all.. Griessinger's Goby (Discordipinna griessingeri)
  3. Thought that this clove was dying.. but as you can see from the photo.. new heads are growing from the old stalks.. Some goodies from Cedricang.. very nice guy with an unbelievably fantastic collection!
  4. Purple Yuma Sps: PinkMilli Purple milli Green Acro Finding Nemo Mandarin (After 2 years, this Mandarin fish finally learned to take frozen mysis shrimp!)
  5. Some random shots to test out new camera: Zoas: Fiji Zoa More Zoa
  6. Thanks! My sump is 75cm long x 46cm wide with water level inside at approx 28cm high. Yup. For the FOWLR tank I am using only a T8 red/pink tube.
  7. Also time to replace the RowaPhos, CO2.. the list goes on.. Nothing interesting happening at the other tanks. Photo of the FOWLR tank: Some new stuff from Henry/ML.. Purple Death: Radient Wrasse:
  8. The RBTA has grown quite a bit.. and killed off near-by sps.. The 1.5cm long cute Maroon (bright red) clown has transformed into a 3" long..rather unattractive looking dark maroon clown.. A very fat Mystery Wrasse: The above clam seen from top view:
  9. Survivors from the bubble algae plague: My first sps from GO: SPS frag from hijackng (I think) Zoas Ambistoma's sunflower Giant green hairy mushrooms
  10. No change leh... But only left sun corals.. a yasha goby and shrimp
  11. Hi Lemon ya.. how time flies! Not sure what Fairy wrasse species that is.. Bought from RB many months ago.. change colour from bright red to 'dirty' blackish with yellow fins! The blue stuff on the right hand side is some kind of 'pest' liver sponge I think..
  12. My 2nd year anniversary FTS.. Tank has been badly neglected for many months... After a long & tough battle with bubble algae, the tanks has stabilized but is now over-run with GSP and giant green hairy mushrooms!
  13. One of the coolest tank I've seen in quite a while!!
  14. Haha.. right now..my 3 tanks cannot satisfy my desire for your splendid Wrasse collection!
  15. Damn..always 1 step slower than you when it comes to getting fish from ML! First is the cute blue-eye anthias.. then this Flasher Wrasse! ... I bought 1 from the same shipment.. but it's far cry from yours!
  16. Thanks guys.. Must confess.. lost quite a bit of interest in this hobby lately and now running on maintenance mode only.. Everyday just feed fish, top-up water and clean skimmer only.. Now.. all I need is a flame wrasse and I can stop visiting lfs liao! ...ermm maybe plus Lemon's Flasher Wrasse...and perhaps an AT...
  17. Finally.. updates on my FOWLR tank: Disease wiped out most of my fish in my FOWLR tank couple of months ago.. (Suspect to be Brooklynella disease as it was resistant to Paraguard & Cupramine treatments.. eventually only Fomaline based treatment was effective!) RIP: PBT Juvenile Emperor Angel Juvenile French Angel Harlequin Tuskfish Lionfish (Pterois Volitan) Clown Triggerfish I think one of the main factors for the bad disease outbreak and low resistance of fishes, is the high temperature of the water. Despite running the main return pump (Eheim 1262) outside the sump, temperature was hovering above 31 DegC. I have since installed a mini fan (6†diameter one from Carefour) which blows at the top of tank for 15 hrs a day. The water temperature is now maintained at 27 Deg C. However, have to top-up almost 2 litre of water daily due to evaporation! FTS of my FOWLR tank: New replacements: Emperor Angel BT PBT Koran Angel Clown Triggerfish Yellow Butterflyfish (not sure what species) Juvenile Dragon Wrasse
  18. Nano tank FTS: A pair of seahorses.. A bit troublesome to keep as they require daily feeding of frozen mysis shrimps.. Easy to keep and fun to watch.. Yasha goby & shrimp Have kept this Griessingeri goby in my nano tank for more than 6 months… pop out for rare appearances less than 20 times! See if u can spot it below!
  19. Some updates.. Main Tank: No major changes except for out-of-control coraline algae growth.. Except for daily feeding, have been paying very little attention to this tank Bought this RBTA from ML 8 months agao..has grown to twice its original size.. and killing all the corals around it! Rics & Yumas under actinic light...
  20. Wow..Did u get the rhomboid from Irwana shipment today? Is it me or has the price of flame wrasse gone up.. was quoted 3 blue + 3 red notes for 1 today... Last week was quoted 4 blue notes at SL.. Find it too much to spend on a fish that may commit suicide or up lorry anytime. For now, can only enjoy your photos.. do take more for us! Thanks!
  21. Wow! Envy! How much did u pay for this one? Slightly less than 3 blue notes? SL quoted me a ridiculous price last week! Really have to make sure it wont jump out! Lost mine a few months ago when jumped into the overflow for no reason..
  22. Around 5+ pieces at 2pm... mostly orangy.. 1-2 green.. n 1 slightly bluish
  23. The pump can run externally.. However, the water level must be higher than the pump for it to work. It won't have enough suction to draw water if it is above water level.
  24. My tank is 5ft x 1.5ft x 1.5ft... I did the same for my eheim 1262.. using a flexible hose. Working good so far.. but have not measured the temperature to confirm if there is actual decrease.
