wow, it will be so crowed in 3 ft tank with so many angel in there, my 6 ft is house only 5 angel, which is : regal, asfur, french, majestic and blueface. I think if bro coolguy want to growth the angels to adult size in heatlhy condition, you must move to more than 6 ft.

If you bought a grey belly regal, than it is mostly impossible to eat in captive. If you bought yellow belly and consider it is healthy and drug free capture fish and no other fish are bullying the regal, than in most cases it will eat in one to few days after introducing to the tank. It will eat on mysis shrimp, artemia, pellets, frozen foods, etc.

bro coolguy. Thats a semiadult french angel. Some of them are bought when they are in small size, like blueface and majestic are in juvenile marking. Those BF are also bought when they are in around 4 cm size.

This is my angel community tank. Plus 2 tangs, 2 clown, and 3 BF.

I know that, but among other angel that 2 angel are the most red color, i forgot if there are any other. In majestic, there are combination red (dark orange) with blue marking.

If u want to have a bright red, there are 2 choice : 1'st is flame angel and second is majestic angel.

It depend on the water quality but on most cases, most angel species are ick free, only some species are not so though such as rock beauty, lemonpeel, potter, golden, bandit and some other.

From what i've read, this angel is consider reef safe eventhough i'm not experience it by myself because my tank is FOWLR tank. I believe some bro here can help u.

Hi, i want to add a little correction about indo regal angel. It is correct that most people only know that indo regal are white/grey belly but it is not 100% right, because on one or may be in few small capture area, we can find a yellow belly regal, and this regal are very difficult to distinguish between red sea or indo regal. I have indo yellow belly regal in my tank for more than 2 years, and eat on various kind of food. This regal have good survival rate in the tank, and infact nearly as good as red sea regal. If you can pick a healty and unpoisonus fish, it will eat in less than a week. I can say this because it happen in my regal and other indo yellow belly regal that i choose for some of my friend. Always avoid white/grey belly regal at any cost.

If u can get ur rock beauty to eat, then it is a sign a good progress. But, this angel is not like anyother angel that can be live healthy on various food, so like Travy said u must serve this angel with a sponge base food instead of meat food. Because this fish rely heavily on sponge as their primary food, especially when they are in adult size.

Hi Melv, Clarion is from what i've read have a similar way to keep as with king angel because they live in mexican sea. But, the price are very high due to the restricted capture by the government. But from what i've read this fish are easy to keep if u dare to pay the price .

Hi bro, u shouldn't buy rock beauty. This angel was almost imposibble to keep alive in any lenght of time in the tank. Eventhough few of expert can keep them alive, but on most cases this fish is really hard to keep in the tank. There are lots of other choice that much more easy to keep such as Asfur, Maculosus, King, French, Queen, Blue Face, even Regal Angel are easier compare to Rock Beauty. FYI, my friend are tried to keep this beauty angel for almost 10 times with various size, and all tempt are death in about few weeks or month.

This fish consider to be very hard to keep in the aquarium, because it need special feeding of Acropora Sp. This fish call Oxymonacanthus longirostris or Orange Spotted Filefish.

In my 6 ft tank, there are : Regal, Asfur, French, Majestic and Blue Face plus 2 butterfly which is Auriga and Saddle Back. All mostly are 3-4 years old in the tank. The first third one are the biggest in the tank in same size about 12-15 cm, the majestic and blue face are bought when they are small juvenile ( i thought it was about 3 or 4 cm when i bought them), it now about 8-10 cm. Samething happen to auriga and saddleback with majestic and blue face case.

GB is consider to be an easy BF to eat, but it is also easy to succumb by lymphocyst. Fresh water bath will eradicate this diseases. This fish is likely to eat mostly on meaty food (either live or frozen) like blood worm, adult brine shrimp, mysis shrimp, baby guppy.

Yes, it is a Black Velvet. This fish belongs to chaetodontoplus member and not an easy angel in tempting them to eat compare to pomacanthus and holacanthus member.

Hey bro somebody, i don't know what clown in Reborn, i live in Indonesia . But, if it is only cost u $3, i think it is a common clown, but collected from Bali area, if u pay attention on my sentences, i said that common clown are spreading in all over my country. A pair of True Percula are about $25-35 here in indonesia, the price depending on marking, size and perfect condition of the fishes.

FYI, here we indonesian people call Bali Nemo as a True Percula, where as False Percula are call as common percula. It just a nick name, so you will not find Bali Nemo on the Marine Atlas. Sometimes Bali Nemo are also call as Biak Nemo, because this 2 area are the place where fishermen can find a True Percula in Indonesia, so from hundreds of collective area, only 2 collective area which is located in Bali and Biak where they can find True Percula, other places are spreading a common clown. Hope this will clear the misunderstanding.

Hi jackaleo, yes it is conspicillatus angel, this beautifull angel are very rare in the market and it is consider as a conservative fish by the australian government, when i go to my local LFS (indonesia), he said that it will cost around sing $2.000 , and i must put a downpayment 50% of that price if i want to buy that fish.

Hi Melvin, looks like ur an angel lover too. But if ur books seem to be out of printed again, and not easy for angel lover to find it again, today new release are this one. I bought it at kinokuniya at orchad about 1/2 years ago, but i think it is now out of stock as i can't find it again in kinokuniya, if i'm not forget it is around sing $100. It's worth to buy for angel lover, it explain not only angel but butterfly and other 10 more coral fish and their tank maintanance, what can be keep and can't be keep, and many more info.

IME, cleaner fish will not help to cure or even prevent the exsistence of white spot or oodinium in ur tank, it is more likely to eat on fish mucus or parasite that more bugs alike than diseases alike (WS are diseases). I've ever lost a fish because of WS diseases, i saw that the cleaner is not interested in cleaning that fish from WS, while the cleaner is still do a cleaning service with other healthy fish.

A little bit correction, yellow belly is spread in 2 location : first is indo-pacific sea and second is red sea (like u said), but indo-pacific yellow belly is not only comes from phillipine, here in indonesia there are some location for the yellow belly specimen, so in indonesia there are 2 type of regal, 1'st is grey belly and 2'nd is yellow belly, my yellow belly are capture in indonesia and Padand island is the location which yelow belly regal are abundant. The red sea specimen is more yellow, it tend to orange than yellow.

My regal is almost reach 2 years in my tank and eat on everything i throw to the tank like pellets, flakes, live/frozen adult artemia or mysis shrimp, blood worm and nori. He share with some other big angel. Fews tips on buying this fish : no need to worry either this fish is eat or not in the LFS because if u can get a good and healthy fish, feeding this fish is not hard anymore, just pay attention : never buying grey belly species (always choose yellew belly), find the one with good swimming behavior, normal breathing, and the most important (my guide, since i sometimes bought regal angel for my friend) good regal will react to strange face/hand if u put ur face/hand infront the tank and will swim coming to u and move away from u, so in briefly this fish is know that you are looking at him, in this step i usually do a check for about 10-20 minutes to make sure that this fish is top notch.

Not always like that bro, as my experience, cleaner fish is not hard to eat, but since this fish is mostly caught by cyanide, so this fish is like to eat soon after introduce to the tank. You need experience in choosing this fish plus luck that this fish is not suffer by cyanide. My cleaner is already live more than a years and eat on pellets, live/frozen mysis shrimp and of course fish mucus/parasite.
