I think DSB should be explained by the pros here ba...but the rough idea i think is...if your sandbed is deep enough,there will not be oxygen/air at the deeper parts...which causes certain bacteria to grow which converts the NO3 to N2.....i think....(lousy explanation..zzz)

You can try pm sherman for SSC LEDs...i got mine from him...if not you can order online from dealextreme Ok!i will see the effect once i get it done!if too blue then might add 2 more white or remove 1 blue...this 1 gotta trial and error...and my tank is not that tall so will have to see the intensity also and adjust height accordingly

This are Seoul semi conductors 3 Watt LEDs!!I think is the P4 series! Anyway i am going with 4 blue and 2 white(trying to get the 20k look)hope it is not TOO blue!

Hey bro, will you be running the filter through your chiller?Cause I am currently running a 2213 through a chiller and the output is really unsatisfactory IMO...So might want to take that into consideration Oh I also trying out not putting filter pads in the canister...just using a Han-on filter each time I do water changes(to clear the cloudiness)...hope this can reduce maintenance...

The day of unfortunate event: 1. Woke up at 9AM to go down to CF with some fellow reefers to get some rocks. All the way there----->quoted $40/kg!!! think the employees don't know the price?!HAHA!But the 'auntie' not there so had to go back empty handed z.Z 2.Luckily in the afternoon was in town area so decided to drop by reborn to get the rocks after finding out they do have LR/LS.
