dude can cut out the top of those coke bottles... then use it to cover the sunny when feeding.... this way those fishes wldn't get to rob the coral of its food...

muz be ur first coral death... hai~~ when you first posted its pic tot it looked bleached and dying... brain is a hard coral so when it dies it leaves behind its skeleton... so it will still be hard.... the flesh will rot so smelly lohz....

maybe the damsel was dead and the reefer fed it to the coral?

the coral wld try to digest the shell... haha extra source of calcium maybe... no worries about it... if it cun digest it it wld expell it...

keeping it dry is the main thing....

rics if i am not wrong are these type of coral.... so yeah light is food to them... of course u can feed them small pieces of mysis shrimps... so that when the coral digest these food.. they break them down into phosphates, ammonia etc... as plant nutrient for these zooxanthellae algae....

corals do not produce food by using bacteria but by zooxanthellae in their tissues.... that is hermatypic corals...... these zozxanthellae are actually algae so they use light to produce food... like photosynthesis and they actually feed the coral in return for protection....
