    First time setting for a marine fish tank

    Thanks bro Ck, kelvin and BFG :) most likely I will drop lionfish from the list. Went shopping around the other day. Most lionfish look lazy.

    Past 2days damselfish not eating and keep hidding in a small space within liverocks.. Is it normal for banded shrimp to lose 1 claw? Did it drop by itself or is there any other reason that could lead to this?

    Water tested and everything seems ok. Water change sechdule suppose to be next week but bring forward to today...Just did a 20% water change. Hopefully things will get better

    its common for coral band shrimp to lose their pincer, it will grow back in no time. Cheers :yahoo:

    I've just trimed my chaeto, Tear out about 1/3 of it and threw it away (Dunno if it's the right thing to do?). The remaining still covered with a little of the red dots stuff. Hope they dun get infested and overrun by the red dots again. I think most of them r a type of red hairy algae, while some is coraline cos it looked purple to me.

    i feel not really price as compared to alot of led note this are not cree led they are special made aquarium led :) only got white and blue channel to control the % but no controller to do sunrise or sunset :(

    So does that means that u can't preset the channel for the white & blue % at different period, e.g. 1pm to 3pm 10% white, 90% blue, 3pm to 5pm 30% white 70% blue, 5pm to 9pm 50% white 50% blue and so on...? Pardon my ignorance.
