  10. PVC glue will be water tight but remember to be sure the position of the pipes before you join them . Once glued it is very very hard to remove or change.
  11. Tanggy your right about maintaining the siphon tube but that is if your using a clear siphon tube. In US most of them actually change it to PVC pipe therefor no or very little algae growth happens in there. I've been using my overflow for over a year now with no problems at all. Never had any flooding and it always starts automatically Further more I can adjust the water level when i want and also use it on another tank if I wish too. My 2cent.
  12. Hi guys! Just to clarify that you can get the ibox at the shops or eaquanature.com. If you need customisation, do let the shop owner know the size you need for the ibox. And I'll get it done for you. As for service, I still service those who buys them from the shops. Dun worry terryansimon: The I~Top is out already works well with T.U.B.B.Y

Sorry I just realised that 9mm is too small. I don't think they have one for that size. Sorry. File the corners of your drill bit. Not the Tip!

Are you gonna drill a flat acrylic or cylinder? If your gonna use this drill bit size alot, then i recoment that you get a hole saw at that size. I will cost you more but in the long run it's better. I got 3 sizes for PVC plumbing sizes. 16mm, 20mm and 25mm. For your "Future Plans" you should get a proper drill. Take it as an investment.

Tanzy is right, most do come with speed control. Don't forget to get drill bits for acrylic or it will crack! One way is to modify the drill bit for acrylic use.
  21. terryansimon, excellent setup!
