Bro, nice tank! However please be extremely careful with this amount of LS in such a short time with no chiller and "QUICK START SYSTEM". There is not quick start in marine reefing! Patience is the key! I suggest you to change water with quality slat mixed or nsw as often as possible and read up more at the same time! Hi all, Want to have trigger fish in a reef tank? Blue Throat Trigger is one of the few that suitable in a reef tank! I bought a blue throat form AM few weeks back, but find it too big after releasing it into my tank, thus got a second one which is slightly smaller. Manage to catch the bigger piece, thus selling it. Selling at $18. Pic from the net, and mine look exactly the same!

If you want to do major water change is safer with nsw. I do almost 30 to 40 percent of water weekly and 40 over ml of vinegar daily. Don't think is the venigar that caused the problem.sudden major water change may result in drastic drop in bacteria count that might caused tank crash.

If no3 begin to drop, just continue to dose the same amount untill it reaches the desire level of no3. Only increase doses when no3 stop dropping or climbing..

Haha, due to super high bioload, i am dosing 45ml daily with kalk solution. Of course over a period of time..
