  1. They eat daetom, so make sure you can scrape some from your tank wall and feed that chamber. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  2. Throw the whole portion into your refugium or chaeto, about 2-3 weeks later you will see a lot of it cultivated. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  3. LCK201 is actually good, I used that to start my tank for copepod culture. But I can't give you any because that tank is in fallow. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  4. Joe, study hard and best of luck. Buy from you frags again after your O's Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  5. 4-5cm is $20? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  6. What is the pink zoa above the mystic people eater on 1st photo? Is it for sale too? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  7. Interesting cabinet design, I think if modify it and add in the sump will be perfect. Sent from my SM-G920I using Tapatalk
  8. I need to keep a spare return pump, so I can use it in case main pump give way, so the idea is to get the cheapest one. In this case should I consider China brand? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  9. I think the better choice will be a DC pump. All three Brands are good for me. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  10. Kalk is reasonably safe if you at least measure PH. It will up your KH, Ca and PH. The key point to dose Kalk is that it need to be very slow, ideally use a dripper to dose Kalk, my drip rate is 1 drop/sec. I dose Kalk to maintain my PH to be above 8.0, KH will stays somewhere 7-8 for me. Ca is high for me because I also dose Coraline additive. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  11. No rubber hose between the pump and the pipe? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  12. No, they only peck at algae Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  13. Already 2 weeks passed and the 2 flame angels are still peacefully co-exist, hehe. So far I see the smaller one under some stress trying to avoid the bigger flame, but no fighting or bullying occurs. The black clown looks like referee to me, lolz. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  14. I think if you use slightly coarse sand will be okay, won't float up and trap with algae scrapper easily. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  15. Btw, what is the ID of the pink Zoas on the second and third photo? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  16. Gil has one of the best Zoas tank I see in person !! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  17. Sharon, that is the Mame Skimmer from Japan. Only sell be Seasonal Aquarium in Singapore. I know 2 bro reefers are selling it second hand now. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  18. Nice maxima ! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  19. If you use this sump, 3rd chamber is ok for sump but you need to add baffle between 3rd and 4th chamber. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  20. This sump design comes with 4 chambers but I really think 3 chambers are effective which are 2nd, 3rd and 4th. That's why I say put the down flow pipe on 2nd chamber to start with. The 1st chamber which has good water volume appears to be a good ATO reservoir, can use that to store fresh water for auto TOP up. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  21. Okay, can consider changing the down pipe to drain straight to the 2nd chamber and my earlier suggestion may works, and for the first chamber, use it as a ATO reservoir. :-) Sent from my SM-G920I using Tapatalk
  22. I don't think you can put filter sock with this sump design, heavy modification needed on 1st and 2nd chamber. Sent from my SM-G920I using Tapatalk
  23. Oh no, I just see the sump photo and realised this is a 4 chamber sump.... missed seeing the right most 1st chamber. Ignore whatever I mentioned earlier. Sent from my SM-G920I using Tapatalk
  24. I won't get that, rusty stand is not appealing. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  25. Will get rusty easily? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
