hamann, the petrol kiosk attendant who came to u was an old man right? like almost balding? those are HIS dogs... i was there with my friends at around 11am about to move off to a friends wedding when i noticed the puppies.. at 1st it was tied to the tree with a green rope... then i think he wanted to feed the dogs la.. so he untied the rope and the puppies ran abt for awhile then he called them back and they actually came back to him... he was sitting and playing with them for awhile and he was the one who tied them to the tree with a big chain.. actually i don't know if it's cruel or not la since he actually feeds them and lets them run free for awhile... but then chaining them to tree is not la.. on the other hand, i think he can't leave them at home bcoz he stays alone and chains them to the tree coz he can keep an eye on them when he works and when he finishes work, he brings them home...

hmm i had tuition for malay, maths in pri 1 all the way till pri 3... then stopped... pri 5 and 6 continued maths and malay tuition... then in sec sch had maths tuition all the way until sec5 where i graduated... from my own experience, tuition may have an adverse effect on the person.. y i say that? it's because u have tuition for subjects u are not good in... so for my case, i came home, watched tv, played computer... 8pm tuition until 10pm... no need to take out the book and study and figure things out by myself.. it's like i was spoonfed all the way... so now im in poly... doing civil engineeing..(btw my maths sucks!) and i have 9 modules, everything is calculation.. very very little theory.. so i kinda struggled... and i've to adopt a new way of learning... i have to figure things out myself la have to ask frens la have to study wif frens la... last time, it was "ok don't understand in class, nvm, sleep, at home got tutor later" now it's different... u have to rely on your frens and if u have friends that are then it'll be hard for you.. i think if u were to start tuition from a very young age, u'll have to carry on throughout sec sch until poly or jc where the mind develops? until the person can realise and think abt his future? i dunno something like that... but it may also result in your child becoming unattentive in class because the tutor would go thru everything again... and ya abt agencies bluffing their way all arnd... my sisters takes malay tuition.. they're in p5 n p3 now and the agency promised to send a uni grad, 23 years old, studying in NIE... ok good..my mom was happy... but then... skali the tch come, she happens to be in the same course as me in poly! she's 23 because she went thru jc, didn't make it to the U and joined poly a year later... and she's only in year 1....
