Ya follow what eric says and note when you feed your clown ( if you hv any) whether they bring food for the anemone. Mine does and I don't feed it. Feeding too much stress them too cos they used alot of energy to digest the food. The shrinking might also be due to them flushing out wastes from their system and trying to balance their internal water chemistry. Check your PH, Salinity and temperature. Make sure noo sudden spikes and swings. Cheers. Kevin

Try changing the water flow direction and positioning of the lights.

I've heard of ppl using egg crates for that purpose. It should be ok and you can just place it above the area you place your coral? If one piece doesn't give enough shade stack up 2 pieces and blocks the holes further? Cheers Kevin

I'll be getting my ATI T5 Retrofit from Joe soon. But am not sure what's the best combination of tubes in terms of kelvin temperature for a 2ft LPS tank. Currently it comes with an Aquaz Blue Pro (20kk) and the other tube is 14kk (can't remember the light tube name). Should I stick with this combination or should I change to a 10kk tube instead of the 14kk? I am thinking of actually removing the 20kk and replacing it with an actinic tube. Will that be ok? Need some advise please. Thanks Kevin

Np. I think you let the corals in your tubs clouded your head.

I just tried using a mineral water bottle and going with 2 tubes from the top. (drilled holes in the cap just nice to fit the tubes) Looks like it's not air tight enough so the pressure doesnt built up so it doesnt stop the flow when the water volume is up to the right level. And that the tube being used is too small in diameter. If you based it on the upside down 1.25 litre bottle, the water pressure is kept inside cos air is trap in and the outlet is of a bigger diameter compared to the tube I am using. Anyhow will try again after I get some silicon and stuffs to prevent air from escaping thru. Anyone have better ideas please contribute. Cheers Kevin

Ok I think I know how it works. It's similar to Tineng idea, and actually I use this way to dose my kalkwasser. Will do an experience on it on my tank in a few hours time and let you guys know the result. Cheers. Kevin
