bro..u are implying tt aquaz nt gd 4 corals la...actually...T5s are design for reefers that do nt hav a chiller and so they cannt fix on a MH...T5s gives off lesser heat den MH...the qns abt the lifespan realli depends on wad kind of corals u are keeping...for example...keeping LPS with T5s is recommended to replace every 6-8mths....wheares with softies...replacment can drag abit more longer...the difference is there...once the side of the tube turn black..it is time 2 replace a new one.. my 2 cents worth of comments..

tink u can feed it with garlic pellets and some food tt contain anti-biotic...most probably..other fishes is hungry and decided to 'makan' the yellow tang..if it dosent eat anything...gd luck 4 it...

bro..the old tube is 10,000k or wad??if it is...shld use back the same..even though using 14,000k shld nt be a prob..check the ballast and wire connection..test out the starter..maybe it is jus the starter and nt the tube...my 2 cents..

if dere is 2 pumps running the overflow..it is nt a gd idea even wif 2 pumps of the same kind...eventually...one of them will wear out and run abit slower den the other...therefore..the flowrate is nt synchronise...bro...try using gravity...much more trustworthy...and use a return pump of cuz...my 2 cents worth of advice if you are using 2 pumps 2 do the job...

yea....depends on which country it is frm n the brand of cuz...using AQUAZ tube for 8-10hrs a dae can only last for 6 mths...china tube can only last for abt 4mths??...replacing is impt...becos the colour spectrum would nt be so bright and the penetration isn't dere.. my 2 cents...
