Maxstar81, what you had collected are not aiptasia but glass anemones. Very hardy, does not spread like aiptasia. You don't want to fool around with aiptaisas....

i think it is some form of bacteria. I had those too in my beckett. smell like open sewer....

i had been running the ozone generator for the past 2 mths (24 hrs a day 7 days a week) .... without an ORP controller Didn't had any skimmate problem... my beckett still extract a bucket full of kopi O every week... Ozene should had ionised the skimmate to a lighter colour but not for my case....

Borther, You must setup your tank and cycle it until all the NO2, NO3 & NH3/ NH4 are ZERO before adding any life stock. I had been through your stage... killed many fishes.. Think through what you want, do your research and buy once tank is ready. Good luck
