  7. haha sorry my bad...is sim lim tower...not square... if i'm not wrong the idea is to set the chiller temperature at a lower temperature like 20 degrees. so whenever it is switched on/energnized, the chiller will kick in.
  8. it's in the position of drawing the air out now my initial intention is to blow the air in to "push" the hot air out through the front opening. i have tested to run the fan in both directions. no change in the chamber temperature
  9. bro, perhaps you wish to create an opening at your cabinet to draw out the hot air ? try using ventilation/exhaust fan. I feel that it is far better than those CPU fan. you can check it out in my thread. I'm using that as well. u can get the temperature controller at sim lim square. use that as a controller instead of the chiller's internal controller. both the chiller and fan plug into the controller, when temperature rise, both will be energized. personally i haven't tried that. but i feel that is not necessary as the cost to run a fan is so negligible. i think the cost of getting the controller can offset the electricity bill for the fan for dunno how many years.. one month probably cost you $2-3 bucks..
  10. sorry din realize there's a double post. Item currently reserved. Mod pls del this thread. Thanks.

  14. i'd raise the light higher than sliding in. i raise my light 40cm above the water and have enough clearance to do the maintenance.
  15. where got hot lar.. a very noob /beginner setup haha the girl in your avatar even hotter
  16. actually i have a magnetic scrubber.. haha but i only clean the front view.. lazy .. guess is time for me to wet my hands and do a thorough cleaning of the other sides of the tank. most of the tank mates are quite peaceful. so far no sign of jumping. cross finger
  17. but what's the purpose to have the sliding track ? i'd love to have the feature to adjust the height rather than sliding in/out.
  18. u just have to ensure that the railing can hold the weight of the lightset. some lightset can be pretty heavy. do check on the cable length also (between the lightset and ballast/driver) to see if the length is sufficient when the tracks are stretched out to the max.
