no lah...I wont be offended..I am not the one who goed ard doing that.....lol... just that I think sometimes if we have inspected the goods (in this case corals .. no issue of counterfeit or hocus pocus crap) .... then we just need to let the guy know...its not a fair trade.... too many a times...including myself....we want to be nice...that's why we just accepted the deal even at our disadvantage.... I think to benefit all....we just got to be real frank during the trade or sale to avoid disppointments...

As I said..... if we are not careful..sometimes ....it is just our fault. I wont call the guy a cheat if there was an agreement.... Like my yellow tang case....well....I repeat...it's just my fault for not insisting in inspecting the fish.... (of course it helps if the guy informed me about it...lol)

Dun see this as a commercial post as I repeat: There are a lot of tank makers here that make quality tanks and do setups for pple.... Lim H T is one of them A reefer who wishes to get a tank done up should talk to more local hobbyist here, get the one that meets your needs. Cheers

I have fragged my acans a few times....I think you should let it recover a little and stabilise before trading it.... it looks really really stressed from the fragging session

I got my tank from Gerald (tank maker) ..... I find the workmanship quite alright. The most outstanding part is the service ... extremely pleasant and helpful guy. You wont be expecting cases like 'no delivery'. The price is also very competitive. (impt for me as I am also a budget reefer). (disclaimer: this is only my exp. fro getting this guy to help me set up my tank....) I am sure there are also quality tank makers ard...just talk to a few more reefers..maybe you can narrow down to one that can meet your needs. Cheers)

I think a lot of guys here have totally missed the point..... After discussing with Melvyn, we both come to an agreement that the content may be innovative to some or funny to some...BUT Bottomline is ...this is a public forum and we have many young hobbyists(below 18yrs) surfing here. It is NOT just about issue of maturity, as there is no specific disclaimer to cover the board and the thread starter regarding this kind of content, we agreed it is better to delete it before it attracts unnecessary attentions (authorities ) to the board. We would rather spend our time reefing and cheonging LFS then to deal with this. Hope our dear reefers here can understand the implications and rationale for doing this. Thank You.

vagabond's observation is pretty similar to mine after I have used 6 tubes so far... Some good observations and some limitations to me; 1) It takes a longer time to harden, esp under water. Good thing is it allows you to mould it and get the right angle you want. Another good thing is that it doesnt disintegrate in water. The Bad thing is if you dun have a support for your corals in the water....or you dun hold it until it hardens.... it will not bond very well. So I either do it outside water or I try to let a small rock to support the structure while waiting for it to harden. Taking time to see what is the best way to scape with whatever medium you have will save you lots of time, money and frustrations. 2) colours...agreed...its white, so it takes a while before algae grows on it and cover over the white part. purple like deltec will be nicer (suggestion). 3) Price....? for aquarium used epoxy....quite good price. Selley's 'Knead it' is cheaper and I have used it in my tank before.....I stopped using 'Knead it' as I didnt like the smell and there wasnt any spec that indicates it is for aquarium scaping purposes....(so if something happens to your tank... you have no one to turn to .... but I must say...I have never really have prob with it before) 4) like most epoxy...foaming in your skimmer does become more intense when you use this medium. (my observation) All in all....it depends on individuals..... like the purple..there's a good brand in the market.... going for a cheaper medium that is meant for aquarium use? I think this brand is alright.

hehe...I am warming the car engine now...seems like I'll be getting the frags earlier than most reefers here...(no need to glue the frags...I brought along my fragging tool and glue gel) ....see you in a while
