  1. I want. Pls contact me at 98571283. Looking at 1kg
  2. Hmm.. Its not the first time you reported having such a sighting. I think your blue tang is hungry. And no. It's not making a meal out of your sea fan. But it is gonna stress it in a way. What I think is, I think he is trying to eat the food that are left inside the polyps of the sea fan. Thats why he is pecking non stop. BUT Its a bad action. Shld stop someway
  3. Ooo! Oops! Sorry dude. My mistake. THATS WHY I have my glasses on all the time.
  4. Tell me too if you have Tunze products to buy too. I also want to hitchhike
  5. Your back is jialat! Those are accumulations of detrius! Pls clear them asap! I do not know how to reach to the back. Maybe direct a gentle current to sweep them up. Else it will incur a disastrous result.
  6. Woohoo!!! That author is WAYNE SHANG!! Totally a God in marine reefkeeping! He's really someone to look up to~ BUT NO! Dont buy his Sanders skimmer. You wont be able to fit it into a condo! Imagine his is Sanders Helogand. BTH!
  7. You had a CLAM! I think your clam will love your doses of phytoplankton
  8. Your DT is phytoplankton. Its a different thing from zooplankton. Sea Fan consumes zooplankton and not phytoplankton. The reason why they are situated close to currents or in the direct course of a undercurrent flow is to increase their chances of capturing passing by plankton example micro organisms as such we call them rotifers (which is one of the common micro organisms we can find in the market now) So answer is No
  9. Alright. Lets answer your question in the simplest way teehee! If I put a plate of seafood, delicious, yummy and looks like everything is bestowed from the Heavens above, will you want to open your mouth and take a bite? The above theory applies the same for your sea fan bro. Reef On!
  10. Nice tank. Seems everything is going well. except that I think it is not wise to keep a sunburst anthias inside a NC. Too small space for a big fellow alike the sunburst anthias. You ought to see its fully grown features. You will have your jaws dropped wide agape. They are super big! If you like thrills and spills of seeing a fish growing from infant to adult, try Chervon Tang or Blue tang or a Purple tang. Though many reefers will comment that they poo alot, but hey! You are not keeping a SPS tank, your corals can withstand a jump in the bioload (anyways anthias also poo alot cause they eat alot) well, go find either of those 3 tangs above, I have seen them as small as the size of a 50 cent coin, but the price tag still the same. BTH~ and if I am not mistaken, Sea fan doesnt feed on phytoplankton. They feed on planktonic food like rotifers or baby brine shrimps, fed directly to their polyps. They are alike our sun corals, need constant targeted feeding. oh wells. that's just my 2 cents. tell me if I am wrong. I can take direct comments right in my face Afterall I am just a newbie reefer Reef on, dude!
  11. He is going to have a hell of a time replying SMS. Upz for his sales
  12. I am TOTALLY VERY JEALOUS of your tank!
  13. care to advise me where did you get your NC? Anyways thats a real BIGGG chiller for a 24g Nano.
  14. Hey dude, There are no pics available for viewing in your given link. Thank
  15. http://www.sgreefclub.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=40899 The link to the review done by Melvyn Tan on H&S Sulphur/Nitrate Denitrator Nitrates are easy to remove if you have a deep sandbed which helps to convert your nitrates into nitrogen gas Or You can consider a good denitrator. Personally, I am not using any one, because I do not have that kind of money and I have a DSB which I am contented with. So no denitrators for now
  16. Since you are going to spend on equipments? Ever consider getting a sulphur denitrator? You may think I am trying to extravagant on this hobby, but to me, Your tank is small, you have little place to place your corals should those macroalgae tries to take over the 'world'. Therefore, in order to keep your nitrates low, why not use a denitrator? It is just another piece of equipment. You will get a better looking tank at the end of the day?
  17. Chromis? Angels? Gah! Keep something easy to maintain. A Royal Gamma works! Pretty and nice colouration! Or You can go down to ML this weekend. Henry brought in some marvellous gobies which I personally prefer for a small tank. One goby too asthetic. Try keeping a few like 3 which you can stock over a period of time? Or You can keep a lookout for a paired true percular clowns from reputable LFS. They breed quite readily and hey! You have fries as corals' food! Or You can try banggai cardinals. They are fishes with spots and only have only two colours on their bodies, which are black and white. Anyways, for a 24G tank, excluding rocks and your skimmer, try to keep things simple and maintainence free (I dont mean no maintence, I mean lesser) and of course less bio load! Caulerpa is dangerous when they turn asexual.
  18. Congrats dude! Sorry that this came late~ But! Enjoy your marriage life! All the best! Got kids liaoz, just remember to tell me, I make them my god sons and daughters! PS:You went to that fort at sentosa to take your engagement photos. Swee~ Been there before! its really scary at night!
