Hi as per topic, looking for a 2ft T5ho light set either 2 or 4 tubes fixture. plz pm me

i have the following fishes in my 3 ft tank yellow tang blue tang 2 clown fishes 1 algae blenny 1 radiant wrasse 3 cleaner shrimps 1 fire shrimp i feed them twice daily, once before i go out and once at night. each time i feed about 40 or so pellets (new life spectrum mixed with formula 2), so one fish probably gets about 10 - 15 pellets daily. is that too much? i realize they shit alot and pollute the water quite abit. sometime i throw in a mysis cube or cyclop mixed with spirulina powder. sometimes i feed TLF sea veggies purple seaweed too. also i have quite abit of corals in the tank and i somtimes dose phyto. but recently i feel that it is quite a waste of money because when i dose, alot of it doesnt' sink fast enough to the corals and alot of it flows into the overflow, which then gets filtered with filter wool and skimmed before returning to the tank. what is the correct way to feed the corals phyo? and how often should i do it? thx!

couldnt help but to say this...if u have so much commitment...why even did u buy the dog in the 1st place? from what i see...ur pets at hand shd take up most of ur limited time....unless u hire ppl to take care of them, i dun think u can spare enough time on each of them and on work and family as well.... just my thots on this...

Hi all~ i just realise alot of small small tiny white creatures crawling around in my tank. they are really tiny and it took me quite some time to realise that they are actually alive and moving about... they look like aphids and are white/ translucent. anyone knows if they are harmful??? advices?

i used to keep a sailfin and a YT together. not much bickering but will try to intimidate each other. anyway...i also got hairline green algae...YT not interested at all....=_= think too well fed and dependent on pellets

thanks for all the advice! but i find it abit hard to target feed this bugger....normally can tempt it to open out to the above state then any more food added in will just go straight to my hungry tang and clown.......

errr... any bros here experience queen trigger nibbling on the lettuce instead of the tangs? i just intro the lettuce to them and the queen trigger fish was the brave enough to try nibbling on it...lolzz

Happened to me as well. bought 3 gobies so far and 2 became kamikaze pilots. suspect they were spooked by my tangs in the 1st place to make them jump out of the tank... lolzz...one actually hit my overhead lights and went back to the tank in one attempt. but otherwise they tend to only come out from hiding when feeding.

Was walking around at farm mart looking at fishes and decided to drop the shop opposite farm mart..just know its a plot of land shared by a few shops and one in particular dealing with both marine and fresh water fishes... think just got new shipment and have small packet individually packed LS inside a styrofoam box. saw 2X blue ring octopus...1st time actually seeing this venomus bugger....beware while shopping ya peeps~ happy new year~

Hmm...i'm wondernig if its ich instead....can see that the lumps have subside become wat seems like a faint white dot like a small pimple protruding...shd i do ich treatment on it?

guess have to do more research before buying...thanks bro and another lesson learnt...sighzz... praying hard for tang...

no cures at all? sighzz..maybe next time when i buy fish should be extra vigilant and careful in selection....the lumps was really very very minor when i took out from the bag....thanks for clearing my doubts...

I just realise that there are many small lumps on the powder blue tang's body. After i bought from lfs, i spotted some lumps at one side of the body but wasnt really alot so didnt bothered bout it..after 2 days, both sides start to develop small lumps, fish still swimming actively n grazing on rocks but not sure wats on his body....help needed plz~ newbie to the disease world~...arghhh
