  1. Hi yazid, Really, i am no expert in SPS identification. To me, most acros are called 'acros'. It must have been Danano you heard. Nice meeting you too. Kind Regards. Dan, You are taking too long with the updates. I want more!( folds arms, stomps feet )
  2. Joe, thank you for your compliment! I will most definitely post my pics some day. Blame it on Dan if i take too long. Everytime i see pictures of his tank, i lost the motivation to post. Instead, i will spend more gruelling hours trying to 'simulate' his reef. (despite getting some rash due to minor allergy) I am sticking my hand a lot more after i saw his reef. Maybe after i should get more cool frags from you...mmm.(He..he.. he) Danano, Dan, my hand is rotting away. But truly worth it! Cool tank again bro!
  3. AT, where did you buy those coraline at the back of your tank? Seems like more people are starting to fancy encrusting monti..Thats great! Montis can hold their color a lot better and they do come in very vibrant shades. Hope the interest will justify more exotic shipments!
  4. Hey Dan.. looks like you can't take anymore colonies.*chuckle* That new acquisition is so sweet. Great looking tank you have there!
  5. Attached Image This is all i can see. Seems like the pics are not uploading properly.
  6. Ian, If i were you, i would paint the skeleton and restore their former glory. Now they look so cold and ######. Cheers!
  7. Very clever way of utilising natural sunlight to power your refugium and tank. Nice tank
  8. Wah piang.. me trying very hard to grow coralline to no avail and there you guys are complaining of excessive growth. Very sickening. It is like those ASSH***E complaining about how their 9 inch swank cause discomfort in toilet when another poorly endowed fellow got to pull his stuff out by the foreskin! Quotable quote: If only i can have your coralline problem.
  9. Coool Tank deepblue dude. I have always liked the idea of having sea fan placed in a cluster like the brown sea whip you have right at the top. Very natural looking. Good photography technique too.
  10. I have personally tried the one from NTUC(pasar brand). Cheap and good. Just soak them in vitachem and salt water from your tank for 15 minutes before feeding. Remember to cut them into tiny sizes so you won't have long pieces flying around. My mother took half a pack for cooking and the rest can last a long long while. The julian sprung nori is crap IMO. Too expensive.
  11. Berry, You are sending our dear friend from one hell to another. Bukit Timah LFS has a reputation that stinks as much if not more than RainB*w. My recommendation will be Oc*an Plan*t at owen road. The owner is sincere and the price is quite reasonable. However, good deals are always a result of research done. You will find certain items cheaper and others more expensive within the same LFS due to the suppliers. Regards, Kevin Chen
  12. Is that a carbon dioxide unit i see at the left hand corner? I notice you have very pink lights. If you have intention of keeping corals, i advice you to read up and invest in marine lighting. Regards, Kevin Chen
  13. Nice..try to reduce the micro bubbles in your tank though. I heard it is detrimental to sps health. I like your concept!
  14. Good job there. However i think your green ricorda is dangerously close. Must monitor growth of monti to avoid burns.
  15. Was at PR again today at about 5 plus. SPS- not much. 1 a humilis, some monti caps, and a yellow stag and a few acro(not sure of names). The acros have mostly lost their color. Clams-Plentiful and good quality.
  16. Hey Bros, Yesterday, prices of all livestock dropped by at least 50 percent at PR. You guys may want to acquire some more corals. Monti only 20 for the medium ones and clams all for $50. Very Cheap. Enjoy!
  17. AT, May your road ahead be filled with paises and bliss. Happy Birthday! Warmest regards, Kevin Chen
