Go for Powershot A700. Did extensive research on Digicam for my own purchase. You may want to consider the following guidelines for your decision. 1) ISO rating of at least 800 reason: this will allow you to take clear nice photos without need for flash light. 1600 is the best. So far , for the budget and compact cam, only fujifilm F10 has that feature. Fantastic night shots without flash. 2) good optical zoom. Do not be confused with digital zoom. reason: digital zoom is usually unusable. 3) good macro zoom. A700 can manage close up of 1cm. Most cameras can only manage 5cm close up shots. 4) battery should be AA. This will be a convenient power source should you bring the camera for trips. 5) Memory card should be SD as it is cheap and very commonly used. 6) good camera stabalising mechanism Try reading up at the this site: Canon A700 at CNET ASIA I decided on A700 cos it is very user friendly. It is very affordable and is probably the best packaged camera in its class. Bought at Sim Lim . Price $520 with full kit and charger. Making my decision for camera was easy. It is important to get a healthy specimen and i strongly suggest you get your lifestocks from LFS with good reputation for their fish collection and acclimatisation practices. MI has a tendency to nip Meaty corals. Mainly LPS. So depending on what corals dominate your reef. SPS reef is fine. Mine has left my sps alone.

Another solution is to downgrade to a smaller house(non private developement) . I understand per KW charge is lesser for 3 and 4 rooms flat. My friend at holland village switches on his air con for whole house(windows never opened except for cleaning) whenever he is home and bills only come up to $100. He mentioned that his utitlity bills are even waived on certain months government feels generous. He had his 4 room flat renovated in condo style and is very luxurious. Time to downgrade? Anyway, most of us are living in homes too big .

Seriously, i feel it is a big pity to stack so much live rocks into a pile like that. You may want to keep the rocks al least 8 inches off the glass on the both sides and at least 10 inches off the front. This will definitely give more room for placement of corals in future. You may also want to create prime spot for you favorite coral somewhere one third of your front perspective. That is the general rule of the thumb for a balanced look. A ravine cutting through from the front may add to the dept that you have with your beautiful tank dimentions. I understand in the effort to cover up the overflow box, you have to stacked the rocks very high at the back. Keep the front pile lower into steps of different heights will allow for more coral placement especially if you have a mixed tank and don't want to fret over coral aggression and compatibility in future. Hope it helps. Really .. i love your tank dimension and you have beautiful live rocks. And remember.. less is more.

For those who make monthly contributions to NKF, i have a very clever suggestion. For example $6 every month. Bring this money to any dialysis centre, pick the lucky chap among the patients and pass him the money in ang pau packet. Like that the full $6 gets to the patient. More rewarding is that you can see the happy smile and look of gratitude personally and your money don't get taxed. But then also a bit flawed because sure got some suay patients never get to see any money.
