  1. I believe leptacanthus is one of the best choice ard due to its peaceful nature
  2. Will not be that ex as it is listed as uncommon, similar to jewel tang
  3. I am keeping 6 of Apogon margaritophorus right now. Rather docile but not so brightly coloured. They do live very closely among the branches of my photosynthetic gorgonian. If I say Chaetodon smithi is possible how?
  4. Fierce? So beautiful, reddish body and luminous blue stripe across the eye. Actually 2-3inches is not consider that big. I am keeping a small group of copper cardinal and they are rather well behave towards each other. I do however hope to remove them and try other species.
  5. Yes, one pt to take note for apogon is not all of them can be kept in shoal. Some lives in pair, some solitary while others are shoaling kind. I usually google each species and look at their pictures in the wild. If they live in groups, then possibly its a much better bet compare to others that show only living in pair. Anyway the best is Apogon Lepacathus aka blue eye. They are not ugly, not even close.
  6. Actually they are not impossible. Its about proper handling and collection method. If a good source is there, this fish is not impossible. There are quite a few threads on RC regarding this fish. How about this? Anyway most apogon will look amazing under strong lighting and I love the way they stay close together at tall objects or corals such as gorgonians or staghorn acro.
  7. Yup to about 3 inches. If you are looking at smaller ones go for Apogon Neonotes aka mini cardinals. Apogon cyanosoma is quite nice as well due to the orange on its body. Anyway most cardinal are rather unappealing in terms of colour but their ability to pack closely together in large nos. which most fishes, even chromis, can't is what make them unique. Thats why nv buy 1 or a few cardinals because they will nv look nice. A shoal of them will be amazing sight though. I have seen about 30 mini cardinals together and they are amazing!
  8. Still looking for a pair of Chrysiptera Kuiteri. Anyone know where to get them?
  9. You just have to be patience and sometimes they may pop up in some lfs, especially Ah beng. Have you seen those than chingcai has?
  10. If you have shoaling fish then get cardinals. They are more pack together and less aggressive. There are some very nice cardinals out there
  11. Nv like colini because, its lateral line is so define and its makes the fish looks very weird and emiciated
  12. Helping a fren to sell this chiller. Asking $700(negotiable). Contact him at 91473388
  13. If we can raise the Jocs to a sellable size, I guess we no need study or work so hard liao.. LOL

  14. Seen the pair, they were grown from juv and finally a pair thats together
  15. From the blue, I can tell they are gems already
  16. The other 2 seem ok for now. Head is not pinched from what I see. I know what a pinched head is like and one Joc in CF was like that, thats why I did not get
  17. Have been looking for it since I saw it. But after several threads I read, and the only place that has it is wakiki aquarium(place where unobtainable rare fish is found), I gave up totally.
  18. 2.5inches. Extremely healthy and curious. Would not be surprise if its eating right now. plenty is another 4, now a total of 6 declivis. Crosshatch pair will only do well in a 6 feet and above tank.
  19. I frogot to add, plenty of declivis as well. Both big and small
