You can get the Crystal Pro DI unit to prepare your own DI water. Though initial setup cost is high (bought from Petmart ard $190); the long-term benefits/savings are better than buying the water from suppliers such as Arees. Besides, you would need storage place to house the 3 x 19L bottles. The only advantage is that it saves you time and efforts to make the DI water.

I got DI water from my crystal pro unit and tested 0ppm. After I prepared salt water using D-D H2Ocean saltmix, the measurement gave me 10ppm. Is it ok with the above or something wrong with the saltmix? Antoher question is regarding the SG. On D-D reference, it states for temp. of 25 deg, the SG should be 1.0250. My SG is now 1.020 with a temp. of around 29 deg in the tub. Is the above SG normal @ 29 deg? As I don't use a chiller, my tank temp hovers around 28 ~ 29 deg. Thx

Besides Artica chiller, which other types of chiller make use of titanium coil? Can I consider Teco TR15 or Hailea brand HC-150A for my 2.5 ft tank?

So far ok for mine SPS (birdnest, montipora) and LPS (leather, torch), sun coral... But RD told me the KH parameter will need to be maintain if dosed the AZ-NO3.

Bought AZ-NO3 on Xmas day and started to dose ever since. It had been 14 days and the NO3 dropped to 25ppm from 50. Will check again 2nite as target is frm 5 ~ 10ppm.

Yeah AM do sell the AquaPharm Epoxy (retailing @ $16.80) that can be used to seal the leak. Saw one of the repaired tank at AM(Katong) using the epoxy.

I got 1 x corcea clam in my tank. May introduced another one (squamosa) if this first one lives past 30 days. Anyway, I bought the AZ-NO3 yesterday from PETMART & wash my REDSEA skimmer. Hopefully it can bring down my present NO3 (25ppm). I will wait for the results till 2 weeks later. If still cannot lower NO3, then I will consider buying the MCE300/600.
