Bro Whitefish, An advise to you, if you drive n buy marine livestock, advisable for you to have a styrofoam box to hold the stuff as the plastic bag has seawater which is highly corrosive to our car, u dun want ur car to corrode right. Just need to be careful in case the plastic bag leak.

Oh yeah, one more thing to add, for those loose joints, you need to use white tape(use for plumbing) and wrap around it like what I did in the pic I have attached to secure it. So just tap it for all joints except the collection cup parts. Cheers

Dun put in straight to the sump compartment, put it in the main tank and try it out, and adjust the level until u see those tornado swirl. also ensure that the swirl reach only around the tip (not collection cup tip) and it will skim thru with those tea like stuff on the collection cup. Then after u know which level to place it that it will skim properly then u put into the sump compartment and adjust to the level. For me it works, but I still have to figure out how to get rid of the micro air bubble going to the main tank and is a bit of noisy.

Hey people out need some info, do cleaner shrimp lays eggs or give birth direct to small frys. Reason is cause yesterdy my tank was filled with a lot of small frys, wehn I off the wavemaker then I can make out it is like live brine shrimp except it is white in color. My fishes were having a feast out of it, going crazy and finished everything in less than 5 mins. It is still carrying eggs, boy these shrimp do grow fast, three to four times their original size. Taken some pics, the small white dots flying around the tank is the one, but by the time I think of taking the pics, most of it is gone as food.

Thks Sandy for the offer, I currently using a resun sk-05 mini skimmer which fit just nice in the sump compartment. Still need to fine tune it cause getting a lot of micro air bubble, thinking of how to get rid of those air bubble when they return to my main part. By the way, what model is ur skimmer and how big is it.

Hey Husky Bro, Do u get micro air bubble on it on ur tank when the skimmer is running. By the way what modicfications did u do on it.

Bro, For me I always thaw the mysis shrimp and rinse them up advise by a LFS, then put it in a container and pour in the Garlic Guard and leave it for 15 to 20 min and put back to the refrigerator. Every time when need to feed will thaw it first and feed it with a toothpick, a little at a time until my fish stop eating to minimise uneaten food in the tank anyway my 2 skunk shrimp will clear it up, they are super active when come to feeding time.

Also worried about the chlorine from the tap water that u wash it with unless u use distilled water

Here is the pic of the skimmer, notice the rounded part on the right which I will not connecting to it n hence shorten the width. Will be putting it in the second compartment but I have not installed it into the tank yet cause I need to change the plug head from the 2 pin to a normal one, too lazy to got n get the 3 pin head yet.

Ur clown fish in the second pic is true percular is it. I have been trying to look for this, where u get it. By the way how much does it cost u.

Hey Bro, Read it over here at one of the forum, if the shrimp start pecking at it, it may be dying cause the shrimp can smell it dying n treat it as food. You may want to take up the clam n smell it, if it has a foul smell, then it maybe a gonna case. By the way was at AM joust now, thgt of getting a small ones but only left with the big pieces.

What I saw is a small box n is only 1 small piece.

What is the best brand then. I recall I saw one that claim it can help reduce nitrates and is around $10 for a small piece like the size of a washing utensils sponge size.
