IMO, I perfer to use Rowaphos/Phosguard which utlise absorption method while Goodbye PO4 by chemical mean.

U need to follow the dosage closely cos u do nort want to allow the cyno to built resistance to the Red Slime removal (antibiotic ). Do provide better flow to area dominated by cyno after teatment.

Strange, KH at both sump n tank should b same unless u just dose sodium bicarbonate in the sump which need time to achieve uniform mix.

For me I hv been using only ocean nutrition 1n 2 for past 3 years with no lost of fishes including 3 year old regal angel, 7 year old black tang, 10 years gramma n 5yrs flame hawk n sunrise dotty back .
