Sad to say both my tang die. I most haertache is my yelow tang. This fellow sure settle down and start eating earliest. I have no idea why I am still having the Nitrate problem. Not getting any fish for the moment until I solve the Nitate problem.Left the spotted hawk, demsal and Chromis in the tank.

Maybe I can suggeest the next 'long weekend' if there is any shipment on fri we can do a 'night meet up' and then car pool at one area then 'cheong' down to Pasir Ris farm area and do 'shopping. Hee hee..can consider hor???

Well something to share how I intro to my YT. Mine I bought the dried seaweed and clip to the food clip. Let the fellow know is food for him. Anyway I find that the dried seaweed smell nice enough to eat. Once YT used to the food clip I clip one piece of chines lettuce on the clip and leave it there. YT just 'dance' around it try to figure what is that then start ti nip on the lettuce. I switch alternate days between dried seaweed and lettuce.

The right part which my Yellow tang likes to hang out and be 'friendly' with the other Lavander tang.This Yellow tang is eating like a pig, can fight with my spotted hawk. Actually I have something to add, my Lavander tang is nipping off things from the live rocks for food, and my yellow tang can finish one leaf of chinese lettuce alone. It is so glutton that I was afriad it will eat itself to death. How to balance these 2 tang in their intake? One eat like no body's business the other will only nip at the live rocks. I also giving dried seaweed to the tang one alternate days. One day chinese lettuce one day dried seaweed. Any advise??? My school of chromis is eating from my hand fish flakes. This is one thing I am very rpoud of.

Yes that is spotted hawk fish. I have one hooked eye hawk hiding somewhere. He is new to the tank less than one week. Only comes out upon the sight of live feeders. Also add in one lavander tang and one yellow tang. Slowly....

This fellow is one of my frav, he will comes to me when I sit infront of the tank. Also the most glutton in the tank. I think soon he will be fat fat liao.

Updates of my tank, Ammonia nil, ph is 8.5, SG is 1.021, Nitrite is nil but the thing is Nirate is 25mpp. The thing is I add in more live rocks 2 weeks back and Nitrate was 12.5mpp. but it had shot up to 25 since a week ago. Did a water change 4 days back and today did a test again. The results are stated as above. Need to ask is my tank still cycling on the Nirate area? How long is this Nirate going to stay so high? So far touch wood no Chimos, Demsal and Hawkfish die on me yet. Any advise other than water change to bring the Nitrate down?

Most likely will give away the chimos if water is stable for lionfish in times to come. Now not yet. Just did a water change see situation how first. Lionfish...will still want to achieve but slowly.

Wah..what is IR scaping??I blur?? Alll I know is create 'cave holes' for my fish to swim through. Hee hee hee...still let tank cycle. Have to wait and still thinking what fish to put in other then demsal. Maybe a tank with hawkfish and chomis. Kind of like that fish now...

Just did a rescape with more live rocks bought.

I had the spotted hawk in my tank. But die. I did plan to have one longnose, one spotted and one flame. Yeah they are kind of cute fellow when they explore the liverocks. Also very glutton and daring fellows.

Nice Fu Man Chu ...Very cute fellow. Will be one of my aim to put one in my tank once my tank is ready for it.

Finally found out where went wrong liao. Did a test, PH is 8, KH is 8 Ammonia is nil, Nitrite is 0.5 to 1 range and Nirite is 12.5. Super high. I believe my tank is still int he process of cycling. How have to hold everything and wait and see. I would to check if now I top up more live rocks will it make the water unstable again? Unstable in the sense the test of these parameters will change again?
