  1. Some close up of my fishes. http://youtu.be/tPeLmCkhTuk
  2. Sharp eyes bro! 2 belize 1 caribbean 1 townsend.
  3. Upsized my tank to let the queen has more swimming space. http://youtu.be/QC6HuADZEss
  4. if u very sure your tank has no ich, u can buy a powder, QT it for 3 weeks. I rather lose a powder tang than my fishes in my tank. If it is a gem tang, then different story.
  5. 90% die still got 10% mah. Tank crash usually is whole tank wipeout. Water turned milky or cloudy. But to lose fishes due to ich use tank crash abit over liao. Keke
  6. New tank usually get this. For fowlr this is not a issue, just an eyesore. When doing water change, use a toothbrush to brush off will do
  7. Bro that one not considered tank crash. Ppl who keep fowlr will not consider keeping powder tang as it is easy and common. Go for AT, black tang or gem tang. Most of my frens keep mainly angels in their fowlr.
  8. Bro your is a fowlr tank, why scare of ich? Even since i convert to fowlr, Powder tang or AT never has a chance to get ich one. Lol
  9. Different location have different collecting methods. Supplier holding condition also play a part. Powder series tang crashing a tank is the first i heard of.
  10. Found from seachem website. Q: I've been dosing with Cupramine™ and then I added Product X and everything died. What happened? A: If Product X is a reducing agent such as ParaGuard™ (or other aldehyde based medications), or if you overdose with a dechlorinator, such as Prime® then the Cu+2 will be reduced to Cu+. Cu+ is 10 times more toxic than Cu+2.
  11. What is your reading for copper at the moment? Copper cant use together with some water conditioner for example prime.
  12. My method is if DT kena ich, I dose copper n maintain for 3 weeks. After treatment, i do 50% water change weekly till copper is undetectable. Any newly bought angel below 7", I will qt it if my dt fishes are disease free. My QT is low sg water without copper. For adding a few angels at 1 go or 8" above angels, I will add to DT straight but dose low lvl of copper as a prevention. From there i will observe whether to remove the copper or up the dosage. Of cos end of the day It depends on the location n value of the new fish. For indo angels, i will never add to my dt without qt for 3 weeks. For angmo angels, seldom have issue.
  13. For 1st timer, day 1 do a half dose. U might need to do more than the stated dosage as your rocks n sand will adsorb the copper. Dose till about 0.2. Day 3 bring the copper to 0.3. (New fishes are added during this day.) Test copper lvl to make sure the lvl is maintained at 0.3. From day 3 count down 3 weeks for completed treatment. However everytime u add a new fish, the time is reset. After the 3 weeks treatment, u can prepare water change to bring down the copper lvl.
  14. I prefer treating my DT if fishes inside get ich. U catch out the affected fishes n treat, the ich still in the system. Somemore mine is a fowlr, so far i used seachem copper with good results. This method work well for my new fishes from 2" juv and 10" show size angel.
  15. Lessen the rocks not only for swimming space, its also to give your fishes the space to grow. Lesser rocks also improve water flow in the tank. Take a look at some of the beautiful reef tanks and u be surprised how little rocks they used.
  16. Bro how do u treat your new fishes if they gotten ich?
  17. Its workable. I tried this when i first started keeping angels. I only do this if i am adding a few fishes or i treating my tank for ich. If your fishes in dt are disease free, then it will be safer to qt the new purchased fish in your qt tank.
  18. The only proven method to ich is hypo n copper. I given up on garlic years ago
  19. Dont have to take out the rocks and drain your tank. Just leave the tank fishless for 2 mths. Ich will die without a host. Those on the glass may be pods.
  20. ATI blue plus is T5. it will not fit into your current housing. U have to change the whole light set
  21. Bro still the same comment, too much rocks for a fowlr. make your tank look small even with so little loading.
  22. If u keep adding fish, your problem will never end. I cant see very clearly from your pic but i suspect is ich. Everytime u add in a new fish, the ich outbreak again n again. For a reef tank, u can try water change everyday till u see improvement. As for the fishes u reserved, I think its better to sell off to someone else. your tank issue will not be solved in 2 mths.
