  1. Minimum 60kgs of live rock (should be about 70kgs or more)....selling $200 for all. I would only be interested in selling them all (whole lot) not partial . Thus, please don't ask if it can be sold partially nor bargain/haggle ( I rather not to sell than have to go thru the hassle of letting them go partially or spending time negotiating). LR at least been 20 months old (to 27 months) in my 4 feet tank,. Please bring your own containers or bags to contain them. Pm and let me have your mobile contact. PS. Genuine buyer please. I have a strange disease that makes me lack of tolerance with people whom waste my time, lol.
  2. Did u try adjusting the pump ? by elevating the pump to higher water surface or lowering it. water level in Macro needlewheel is affected by the pump distance to water surface.
  3. my view is that Majority of the successful business in Singapore seems to be 1)the entrepreneur sees a business opportunity that catalyse him to venture, 2) Venture into a business that he/she have the experience in that field and thinks he can do better on his own 3) Inherited business - 4) or some less common case of unable to find a decent job, yet a critical need to support family, do or die situation, naturally you would seek a way, the drive and commitment to do it.....hehe Rarely the case of hoping to do a business but yet do not know what to do ? and just try to find something to do......because this usually lack of passion for that industry, experience, network ,the know how, etc.....which makes the venture very vulnerable unable to find money to do business ?? if you can't think of a way or resource to obtain a start up captial, how is one going to run a business ? meaning you would not have the ability to seek resources or network or funds to go through the difficult time during the course of your business venture. sometimes, if you have a good idea or skill, there is always people who want to invest or support you.... I don't mean to "discourage" . same time I don't think any entrepreneur would be discourage easily. just hoping to share a view for ponder. anyway there is no hard and fast rules, nor theory for successful business, hence please take my 2 cents like a pinch of salt.....
  4. when they post in this tread and make fun of inexperienced reefer ... j.kidding.....
  5. just curious, why you choose to bid coe separately instead of package inclusive coe at this time ? since the last COE bidding is on the up scale ? sorry, maybe I am ignorant, i thought we only take this action when coe is on the weak side ? some of the brands are giving upto $28k of coe rebates ? not sure if still valid last week...
  6. my opinion, buying car in singapore is about budget = requirements...depends on your priority concern....space for family or FC or Performance or just getting from point A to B, re-sale value, etc ? thats' for the ride on Singapore road.... to me, I'd never let the monthly installment more than 20% of my take home income.....15% or less the best.....can spent the rest of $ for investments, entertainment,etc....or maybe reefing for the guys here..don't get overwhelm by what other ppl think about your choices of brands/models...warranty similarly 3 years ....more importantly is to one's worth and seek the car that fill your "needs" of having a car....
  7. -some pink coral..looks like leather, sinularia to me...not too sure but very unique I think this Pink piece is a "dyed coral"......there is sign of blackened tips at every piece (read somewhere that is sign of infection due to being dyed), and the colour is too fake to be natural...
  8. he looks alike that Murderer Adrain ###### who hires the young boy to kill his wife....
  9. cool, got Golden Tooth as potential partner already, but I still pondering should we offer the "re-bonding" hair service, it could solve or straighten that tangling problem...and rid that hassle...of getting tangled here and there , just kidding, guess its enough of my sick joke (but I was really amazed with that survey question about trimming ? and somehow trigger my sense of business opportunity ) anyway goodnight ...
  10. notice that most are below 30%....hmmm ....chauvinistic Singaporean Male ? just kidding...I belong to 33%....quite MCP too, hehe i think this survey result, if u get even 100%, it doesn't mean Gay, just plainly vain... , leather pants male babe... one of the quiz ask, "Have u ever trimmed yr puXXXc hair ? , if most guys answer yes, PM me, I am gonna start a new "Hair" Saloon (joint partnership welcome" .....$$$$, don't worry I won't hire a short sighted "hair stylist"...no misses
  11. suggest you consider 3ft, the set up cost is not much diff between 2 ft and 3ft, if u r talking about FOWLR.
  12. true about that, I prefer to deal with that Uncle.....he calls the shot, and depends on his mood, he can price anything down....
  13. yes, Reborn's fishes price is reasonable, I'd seen some selling off their arc eye hawkfish and hi fin goby at very high price at SRC Pasar Malam........i got them at a third or half at reborn....maybe they are selling high cus they had bought them at high prices elsewhere.... here is a scenario about 2 months ago, i wanted to buy a beautiful powder brown at CF (which then the Aunty being unsure, decided to check with the foreign worker whether that is a gold rim? I thought the only difference is between them is a powder brown and white cheek tang ? not sure, maybe i am ignorant........ and Aunty explains that normal powder brown is $33, but that brown I wanted is "classify" as Gold rim so is $43 instead?? obviously to me that is a powder brown cus I have them b4 plus with the white stripe on its nose rather than that patch on the cheek ? i think despite thier reputation, funnily they got mix up at times) , and the $43 price tag turn me off, not for the price but because the aunty and foreign worker decided to classify them something else and give me the white cheek pricing (though b4 discount).... and i saw one about 2 weeks ago at Reborn , equally to me the same specimen but only at $ 16, less than half the price (though had to admit is rare that Reborn got a reasonable specimen, it depends on shpt and timing, cus most time it seems the stocks are not that fanstatic due to thier tank condition, hence i go there regularly hoping to find something nice n possibly healthy "out of the blues" ) . of course, really have to scruntanise the health state of reborn fishes.....and they don't feed them...thus a further risk...if buying a $100 fish, better look for sources that cater better conditions.....anything else cheaper, Reborn is still somewhere like a "fleas market" to me...and is fine with me when looking for common fishes........just take your pail and catch them
  14. why u say that bro, what boring black and white life ??? u still young, I'm sure you are aware u are fortunate and also had done well, but naturally you want to achieve further and is ambitious......your life will be like your tank one day, so colourful and delightful, be optimistic and patient , works toward your direction, gradually.......your life will be like your wonderful tank...and it always take effort. be like William Hung loh, "I've done my best so I have no regrets"...hehe sorry for , just catching up with u bro on your thread...
