I like the more open feeling to the tank:

Got this from ML today, lets hope it stays put:

Ok, thinking of changing my sand to black one in the near future. Your sand looks good as well.

Ahh...oh yes. :)

I used the default light regime (with some modifications) that comes with the wireless controller which is shown in Bro clee123 tank thread ( ). However, I set the white-to-blue ratio to 80% because I prefer a slightly bluer look - this means if the blue channel is at 100% intensity, the white channel will be at 80% intensity. I also reset the maximum intensity (of the whole day) to 80% because when I tried 100% (as in the default setting) in the first day, it burned the tips of a few of my acros within one day!

I don't understand your question of setting it pass midnight.

Been running mine for almost close to 2 mths, i do agree this light is quite strong... luckly my SPS are not directly under this light... but i do have some zoas close up...

try to custom your light period to pass mid night.. because mine whenever it pass midnight the intensity goes to night mood... even my custom setting for 0005hr is 100%

i am wondering if it is my controller issue...as currently i dont have a spare to test it out...

Oh I see. I currently set the last point (0%) at midnight, afterwhich it switches to moon light. Maybe I will test it out.

I should add that I did not change the timing schedule in the controller but readjusted the clock in the controller such that 6am is actually 12noon in reality.
