Thanks everyone. I got the purple humilis from the last Walt Smith Fiji shipment at Iwarna on Christmas eve last year and only bought one as I wasn't sure if I could keep its purple colour. It's positioned at an area of my tank where the water turbulence is the strongest. I will buy a blue humilis and a green humilis from the next Walt Smith shipment.

Bravo, finally had a chance to see your thread. Been super busy.

Sorry wasn't able to meet on Monday as the talk dragged too long and I need to rush off.

I figured your meeting on Monday probably dragged on until you ran out of time. How is your tank now?

Hi Honkit,

Don't have time to do anything to tank as I was busy and also I was nursing some corals for a friends. Now that its over, I am recently revived. ;-)

Let's meet soon over a cuppa on weekends or Friday nights - Jln Kayu.

Anyone know what acropora species this is? I got it from iwarna's sps display tank a month ago. It had some burnt tips due to warfare with one of its sps neighbours but thankfully new growth has almost covered the burnt parts.

Thanks! BTW, the chaeto I got from you has stopped growing for a couple of months in my sump chamber - I think it's because my dosing of biodigest and biotipm has reduced the PO4 so much that there isn't enough left over for the chaeto to absorb and grow.

Some of my SPS frags and colonies are lightening up considerably and I am gradually reducing the photoperiod (e.g. superman monti is light blue even on the sandbed). 4 Blue+ T5s on for 9 hours and the other 4 bulbs are on for 4.5 hours. Will look to reduce further if colours remain light.

I have also just stopped dosing anymore biodigest and biotipm and will observe any changes for the next few weeks to come.

Feeding of fishes is 2-3 times per day and I will also include feeding of frozen food twice per week. Corals are fed with zoplan a couple of times per week and Reefbooster every fortnight.
