tht79
Here's another two of my fav "Fanciful" collection... RR Multicolor Matrix IMG_0626a.jpg This beauty took me around 4 months to develop it's multi-color display...yellow coralite ring, purpish near the top branch and a mixture of lime green, pink and orange pigmentation across the lower body part ! Sadly am not skillful enough to capture all this vivid color from my Canon DSLR, but am very happy it has gone to someone who truly appreciated it and.... OBLIVION IMG_0606b.jpg Kudos to the one who name this Sps...it's truly an appropriate name for it...Oblivion ! I love this piece because the sweet pinkish-carnation patches shows up uniquely in various parts of the body... Truly Extreme! Well done bro. SRC Member brojj Posted January 4, 2014 SRC Member Share Posted January 4, 2014 I suppose the colors of SPS does not depend on whether u re using Ca reactor or 2 parts dosing, more dependent on what lights are being used & the spectrum. Correct me if i am wrong but i have seem many beautiful SPS tanks using Ca reactors, like Dr Ang, Bro Kakani & Bro Max..... Why???
SRC Member brojj Posted January 4, 2014 SRC Member Share Posted January 4, 2014 Anyway i am still newbie in SPS keeping & cannot compare myself to them (old timers). I feel younger again. I am sure one day my tank will be as nice. Meanwhile, i will continue to enjoy the poison here. Come throw some more pics. I am developing more immunity already. cedricang
I suppose the colors of SPS does not depend on whether u re using Ca reactor or 2 parts dosing, more dependent on what lights are being used & the spectrum. Correct me if i am wrong but i have seem many beautiful SPS tanks using Ca reactors, like Dr Ang, Bro Kakani & Bro Max..... Why??? Wheather it's CR, 2 parts or balling etc...it's just a means to an end - which is to control and maintain the desired KH / Ca / Mg level. So you are right to say that SPS colors does not depend on which method but rather the ability to maintain a stable parameter using any of the method. I have also seen beautiful SPS tanks simply with balling ( dosing pump ) method and produce great coloration. Quote Treat others the way you wanna be treated... Sent from my GT-I9305 using Tapatalk Yes bro Kakani, i agree with you the red is quite unusual. Lighting wise i find that it cant be too low or else it gets brown. Mid light or slightly lower ( 1.5 ft below water level ) would be very ideal Quote Treat others the way you wanna be treated...
