Kakani
I will start off with a incident that happen to me before continue with my Journey to the West. It has alway been my dream to be in a reef world. The nature of the ocean. Oh Jan 2012, i bought a second hand tank from a nice reef brother here who decom. Was so happy that i bought the whole set at a very reasonable price. So get a tank mover to move my tank. Everything was nicely setup with the coral that the reef brother have. After 4 days later was my son full month celebration, relative/friends look at my tank more then my son. Was so happy that everyone like my tank as reef tank really can draw crowd in to look at it. Soon after 10 days later, my worst Nightmare has come. My beloved tank crack, at the middle all the way from 1 end to another end. Whole night was fighting war, attend to the leak and cleaning up my house. At that moment i was think of giving up on this hobby. Lesson learnt not to buy second hand tank if you have the budget, because after the incident happen everyone will play tai ji each people got his own theory so can't blame anyone either. But some reef brother here get second hand tank no problem, maybe i suay lol. My heart tell me don't give up so easily so i start to source for tank maker. And i found Iwarna, Boss Victor a very nice guy. Told him the incident i encounter and ask him for quotation, so he give me a good discount in order for me to continue my hobby and keep my hobby alive. Was really happy that i can still afford to get a new tank and keep my hobby going in my new renovate house. Really need to give special thank to Victor and Iwarna team member for helping me to reset up my new reef tank. Anyone who want to do their tank can really engage Iwarna, their team is very friendly and helpful with postive attitude. So my new tank arrived on mid march 2012 as my house just renovated finish and in time for move in. So mostly of my item use back. My tank has been cycle for a month and mostly is LPS light not strong enough to keep SPS now saving bullet to purchase better light, at first put in some fish, die very fast or gone MIA you just can't stop buying Live stock it just like a drug. Now have stop buying any fish/coral because too much damage on my wallet. I will post a picture of my tank in a later date when i am free. Happy to be in SRC as SRC is just like a big family with lots of people in love/passion with reef cheers. Will update more if there is any upgrade. Kakani
Just to update i got myself a new toys today, so happy . Get myself a new chiller from the well know chiller maker Derek. Derek is a very responsible and friendly boss. Happy chatting with him while installing my new compressor chiller. All the wiring and insulation for my chiller is well done and well keep by him. Simply love it. Run the chiller for almost half a days, i set the chiller at 27 degree and stop at 26 degree it take 20mins to 30mins to chill down 1 degree. Which is much more better, effective & less noise then my previous chiller and blow lesser hot air out. Did a test out today, without any light on it take around 20mins+ to chill down 1 degree and the chiller cut off for 3hrs to 3.5hrs before cutting in again. With MH & T5 light on the chiller take 30mins to chill down to 1 degree and chiller cut off for 2hrs to 2.5 hrs before cutting in again. This way it will help me to save electricity, save the earth and save $$$ also win win situation. And now my living room is less nosier due to lesser cut in from my chiller, compare to my ex chiller which cut in every 15mins to 30mins. Anyone think of changing chiller or repair chiller can consider finding derek as price is very reasonable and cheap . Try to post my chiller compessor picture but it keep on got error. Sorry can't show the picture.

kira76
Bro, I think your rics are yuma, not rics per say but close cousins. Rics usually refers to Ricordea Florida and Yuma refers to Ricordea Yuma. The difference is at the mouth of the coral. You're theoritically not wrong to say that they are rics as both Florida and Yuma falls under the Ricordea family. But I'm just stating the normal terms that we use here so as not to confuse others. Do goggle both up and you should be able to tell the difference. Kakani
Recently got myself a new pump Tesino GP233 8000L (70W). I got this pump by ordering online at www.sgshop.com.sg. They help you to purchase from www.taobao.com and bring it over for you. If you using air delivery it cost around $140 but if shipping cost around $120 or less for Tesino GP233. Tesino GP233 in singapore market selling around $280. Bad point is no warrenty even with warrenty you need to send back to china. So far this pump is running quietly and most important thing it save electricity. Electricity price in singapore is going higher. So far this pump performance is good.
