Sotong Ball
Yes, u can but will face ammonia spike. So u have to add plenty of live bacteria to keep ammonia low. Also, all ur snail/worms will be wipe off. U will also need to add ard x3 to x5 times more cupramine than the recommended dosing to get 0.3ppm due to ur live rock and sand will absorb it and after 1month or 2 month treatment, u need to use seachem cuprisorb, poly filter pad, carbon to get our the copper out from the tank. IMO, u may add as many fishes as you wish during this treatment period. Prazi can added with cupramine is ur fish has flukes too. Good luck. SRC Supporter Harlequinmania Posted July 24, 2012 SRC Supporter Share Posted July 24, 2012 Get a copper test kit. Too less the level, copper is not 100% effective, too much the fish will die so it's worth every dollars of it. SRC Supporter Harlequinmania Posted July 25, 2012 SRC Supporter Share Posted July 25, 2012 0.3 ppm would be the ideal dosage. Try to maintain it at this level At least for 7 day.. Meanwhile monitor your ph and ammonia level as it maybe affected. Polypterus
Don't use these live rock for anything with invertebrates in the future. Copper bonds to the live rock, and this combination can poison copper sensitive fellas.
