 someone help me ID..thanks..

goby..

Why do we use "My 2 cents worth" when 1 cents are not legal tender in Singapore anymore? Shouldn't it be 5 cents worth?

Sell off the yellow tang and get a smaller tang. Such a big tang looks awfully weird in such a small tank.

Anyway..the fish you wanna get I.D...looks like a midas blenny to me..not sure..maybe you could take a clearer pic?

Oh yes...is your skimmer producing kopi-o? The pump seems overated for a 2011. Meaning less contact time for the bubbles with the water in your skimmer column. My 2012 is only using a 1200l/h pump and it is skimming kopi-o already......

I dunno..you might wanna try a slower pump and see if it gives better skimming results..my 6 cents. B)

Try using a maxijet 800 or a pump slightly rated around 1000l/h or slightly less.

It should be easier to regulate your water flow then. You have difficulty adjusting for skimmate because the pump is oversized. ;)

Read the recommended pump capacity on the box. It's in gallons. You convert it to litres and you get the answer.

You can used an oversized pump if you can alter the flow rate..but what is the point of it all?

Not bad but got one concern. Your tank is overloaded with fish. The single yelow tang alone will produced lotsa waste. Too big for your tank. 15 gallon tank minus sand and rock, you are left with around 10-11 gallons only. and by right only 4inch of fish. your tang alone looks like aroud 2.5-3inches liaoz.

Hi, you have a very nice tank. Care to share some of your experience with me? I'm also using a 2' tank as well. What water do you use during your initial set-up, sea water or sea salt mixes with distilled water. I used tap water mixed with sea salt, and it gave me a lot of brown algae problems on my LR and glass tank. Please advise?Thank you.
