Will Sony Unveil the Playstation 4 on 20th Feb?

Hi guys! those waiting for new generation of the playstation may get a surprise on 20th Feb..... wait is almost over :)

A mysterious new YouTube video and website from Sony have been making the rounds on the Internet teasing at a big event scheduled for 20th February at 6PM EST. Could it be the announcement of Sony's next generation Playstation 4?

The Wall Street Journal seems to be confident that Sony will indeed by unveiling the Playstation 4, currently codenamed Orbis, stating that "People familiar with the matter have said the new device will make its debut there, beating Microsoft Corp. to the punch in announcing its own next-generation game machine."

Wedbush game industry analyst, Michael Pachter also tweeted, “Sony is inviting investors and media to the Feb 20 event; that means console announcement”

even if announce also need to wait for maybe 1-2 years for decent games to come out, at least that is what happened to me for both ps3 and xbox360

yeah, when PS3 first came out I remembered Heavenly sword was one of the best title... now there are tons!

but I still hope PS4 can be backward compatible to PS3 titles, which are still very good.

the huge differences between PS2 and PS3 in the past was the vast differences in graphics which made most players willing to part from PS2 games... but nowadays I doubt there will be that kind of difference when it comes to PS3->PS4. I heard PS4 will be a marketed as a overall family entertainment machine where you use it for gaming, movies, surfing net etc... sounds good!

yah, just announcement that's all. Market predict that it will launch in market end of this year :)

I strongly think that PS4 will be cheaper than what PS3 used to be when it first came out. Sony just reduced pricing for Vita by 1/3 yesterday due to weak sales...
