Used to have those. Leave it for a month or two and they will disappear themselves.

Most snails r algae glazers. It's alright to left them alone.

I used to have those when I placed live-rocks into my tank... I'm not sure if we are talking about the same sized snails.. Mine was really rather small and I just sucked those out when I did Water change. Other than that, I left them alone...
