Longer MH duration will kill corals?

Hi, heard Reborn guy was telling another that the main tank was completel wiped out due to MH on longer than expected hrs... I think it was on for 48 hrs or more...... chiller won't help? Please share yr experience....thks!

hmm...try staying awake for more than 48hrs.......not veri good...right. I think recommended hours for MH to be on is ard 8-10 hrs max.

But some of us on it longer during weekends

not due to A#A cos my friend told him other lfs also selling off their hard corals in the dispaly tank dur to A#A but the 3ft at the 2nd floor still have hard corals and said what he understand is that as long as they are not selling then is fine????.....heard A#A catching cos pp saying in internet that they are not working.... as A#A did do trips to lfs but close 1 eye yet pp sabo them............... hahaha, sorry off topic
