don't get the beamswork if you got extra cash to spend.. IMO too white though its able to grow corals. maybe can get those Par38s if razor is too expensive

I 2nd PAR38 type.... I used that for my IQ5 in the past and it really brings out the colours of my 'simple' corals.... saw growth on them too. Have fun!

2 Feet Tank: (Decom Feb 2015)

Use par38 for more choices of coral only use beamwk light if you only want to keep zoas & fish. Cost of par38 range from 2 blue notes to 3blue+3red notes without holder.
Thanks bro for your reply. I intend to keep simple corals only. Although reefing for more than 10 yrs and at one time have a 5 footer tank, I find keeping corals very challenging... Even mushrooms lol ! :)

That's precisely why you need a decent light set. Assuming your water perimeters are in check, lighting and water movement are the next essential equipment to keep a reef alive.
