Mellow
Orange monti cap frags also encrusting nicely. Mellow
Parting shot for this week. I guess that's the reason for corals costing a premium at GO. See the difference in the quality of the green trumpet? Right one from GO and left one from one of the pasir ris farms Quote "Save a reef, grow your own"

Mellow
Thanks guys for the encouragements. Think those are necessary to keep people going... especially during any tank crisis. Mellow
Lately been trying to eradicate pests in the tank including the following: 1) Hairy crab (found a red eyed eating in my humilis colony) Method of removal: using chicken essence bottle trap as well as trying to manually catch it out. So far managed to chase it manually away somewhere in the rocks and caught another huge crab with the chicken essence bottle 2) acropora eating flatworm: Method of removal: multiple wrasses but seems like I'm fighting a losing battle and slowing losing my stag. Sigh. Encrusted on my rock and I'm unwilling to yank it out for a dip. 3) pesky glass anemones Method of removal: tried peppermint shrimp without success until I got the seagrass file fish recently and saw them diminishing rather quickly over a week Quote "Save a reef, grow your own"
Mellow
Anyone knows whether this might be the result of some worm trying to tunnel into my montipora? It appeared overnight and there was like a 5cent coin size patch Quote "Save a reef, grow your own"
